I've got a plain old simple touch. I don't know what advice I could give you, aside from turning it off and back on again.  Sorry I can't be of more help.

Only difference is that there's a glowlight :P Hardware is still the same as the plain old simple touch, and it's a hardware problem. All buttons work properly. It's only the touch screen that's unresponsive.

Yeah, I mean....there's still the outside possibility that she has a very overenthusiastic kitten at home.  Just be a friend.  If she has problems, she's not going to open up to someone she doesn't trust.

Back when I still trained judo, some of my teachers at school used to very carefully ask me about those markings on my throat. I'm not sure what is the most common suspition if you see a kid with markings indicating he's into a lot of self-strangulation...

Anyway, in judo some of the techniques are about choking the opponent. And the thing is, when it's done by pulling on the collar to do the choke, it rubs on the skin and leaves red mark. During training that move we'd repeat that multiple times and inevitably next day in school if I were to stare at the ceiling or whatever, I'd be asked about it.

Our hawks are nuts. Actually. Nuts.

I caught one swinging on his swing perch. Actually swinging the perch to swing himself back and forth. I watched for a moment, then called his name. He looked over at me with a birby smile. I almost cried he was so adorable there on his swing.

D'awwww, what kind of hawk is he? Red-tailed? Those seem to be the most common across the USA. (They're certainly the kind I see most often!)

This... this seems' relevant to @TwiLyghtSansSparkles interests. As well as most everyone elses, I suppose.

BATTLEPUG.

Having looked at the first two pages of the webcomic out of curiosity I must criticize the sequental art. A blanket magically appears out of nothing on the naked lady telling the story to the talking puppies.

Details are important.

I haven't actually rad the comic. I just happened to stumble across the link and thought it was worth sharing. :P

Burger King has released a new line of "healthier" fries, called "Satisfries". They're disgusting, compared to the normal greasy deliciousness of their standard fries. I suppose what I'm saying is...

I WILL NEVER EAT SATISFRIES

I WILL NEVER EAT SATISFRIES...

If you haven't listened to Hamilton, just ignore this. :P

…I actually don't eat at Burger King, I just wanted to make that joke.

(looks down at fries)  Eww, I found something, uhh... well...

I'm not throwing away mice hot!

My favorite place to go for burgers is Five Guys, mostly because I get to custom build my burger. And their fries are pretty fabulous too. Not to mention that the one by my house sells milkshakes now! :D

A) how do you smash a burger?  They're fairly soft.

B) by Gabrielle Bellot, isn't this pretty?

c) I was talking to a therapist about brain weasels, apparently it's a legit technique called externalising. (Ie "I'm such an idiot"/"my brain is telling me I'm such an idiot" is still *you* to a degree but "the brain weasels are lying to me" is a completely different way of thinking)  so @Kaymyth(?) who introduced the term here: you're awesome.

How do you customize it? The one time I tried it, I was trying for a mushroom burger and failed/was not impressed.

I think it might be me, since that's apparently President Obama's favorite burger joint

Their menu board has a list of all the available toppings, and you just tell them which ones you want when you order. Other than patties, cheese, and bacon, you can get as many or as few as you want for no extra cost. I like that because most places that serve burgers have a bunch of predetermined combinations of toppings, and oftentimes none of them are exactly what I want.

Nobody has yet answered how one smashes a burger.

@AnanasSpren another Aussie! Hi! Where does your name come from?

It's me, Paradox x) I'm just visiting family, trying to find work haha. And I would say one smashes a burger with a spiked hammer

EDIT: and ananasis the most common non English word for Pineapple, at least in Europe's case. (From what I gathered from my nonnative English speaking colleagues during farm work anyway)

I thought that might be the case, because of the Chouta reference in your title, but I couldn't find the name history on the new site to prove it.
