Is there a major DC thread so I can post the Justice League trailer? Because I tried searching for "dc" and nothing comes up.

We do now

We had a thread for Batman v Superman, but having a more general 'verse thread might be more useful.

So, while trying to figure out whether or not I was sleepwalking, I learned that my circadian rhythm could be off. See, I usually leave my window covered up during the day—it helps keep things cool, and pinning that sheet back up every night is kind of a pain. But for the past few days, the light in my central fan hasn't been working (I called maintenance as soon as I realized that—learned my lesson from the AC incident :P ) so I've been taking the sheet down and pinning it back up at night. As it turns out, I've been pinning it up in such a way that it lets in more light than usual, which was apparently causing me to go to sleep and wake up feeling exhausted, despite sleeping through the night. So I pinned the sheet up a few minutes ago.

I feel less tired already.

Which must mean I'm turning into a mushroom person.

That's alright. We like you more than we dislike mushrooms. Did you already find an explanation for the shoes or do we get a Bructetube?

We've hit page 100! Does that mean it's time for Random Things X?

Not anymore. Since the major overhaul the limit has gone up.

I thought that was to do with the posts per page going from 20 to 25. So we've made 2500 posts instead of 2000 to finish it off.

Also, I just discovered I can not only sleepwalk, but sleep-"yes, dear" people. Apparently, I got up, saw my parents, listened to something they had to say, said "OK", and went back to bed. I have no memory of this. I'm not sure what that says about me...

You are not turning into a mushroom person.  This is perfectly normal.  Light interferes with the body's production of sleep hormones.  (Except red light - if you have a particularly bright clock, you can cover it with red clingfilm and shift the light wavelength.  Also, fun fact: using a red light at night helps preserve your night vision.)

I'm feeling a lot less murdery today, so normal makes sense. :P

All side characters should strive to be more like Anya.

Lastly, this (It's not something funny, but something I need advice in. If you don't want your mood dampened, keep scrolling):

A girl at drama showed up the other day with scratches on her wrist. The next day there were a bunch on her leg. I asked her what happened, but she just brushed me off and made a joke about being attacked by a gator. Sooo . . . I'm 98% sure she's cutting herself. What can I do to help her? I've only known her for a month, and after next week I'll probably never see her again. We aren't close. I don't know her parents or anything about her home life. I can't just ask her if she's cutting.

What do I do?

@The Honor Spren, talk to the drama teacher, she might know the girl's parents I guess? Do you have any mutual friends with her?

you could also take a chance and say to her "hey, you look like you need help, if you want someone to talk to I'm here". And if it's awkward you might never see her again, but if she's cutting maybe she doesn't have a friend and she's probably pretty miserable.

Spoiler

Be cheerful and upbeat around her.

Ask her how she's doing.

Ask her about her favorite bands, recommend your own.

Talk about how amazing the Martians from Sesame Street were.

Tell her you're going out with your friends tomorrow night. Ask her if she wants to join.

Essentially, treat her like she's normal. Ask her to do normal-teenager stuff. There is a better-than-average chance she started cutting because she felt, on some level, like a freak, and that she feels even more freakish because she can't stop. You can help by countering that illusion. Chances are good she'll turn half of your invitations down, but keep offering. Don't mention the scratches again. She probably knows you're 98 percent sure she's cutting, but she's probably also hoping you'll pretend otherwise.
