Also, I'd like to remind everyone that this RP is something fun we all do in our free time, and that it's perfectly normal for all of us to get busy with other things, and that we shouldn't need an excuse for spending less time on the internet. I spend less time on the internet sometimes because the weather has been nice for example, and I think that's perfectly okay. I also feel like I shouldn't be obligated to explain absences if I don't want to, since this is supposed to just be something we all do for fun. I get that unplanned absences can inconvenience other writers when doing collaborative fiction, but I also think it's okay to have some patience. It's fine to check in with people and see what's up, but I know I personally am a little uncomfortable with the level of interrogation Kobold is being subjected to, and I know it wouldn't make me feel great if I was being treated the same way. I know everyone here is just really excited to be writing together, and no one is trying to be rude, but I know that I personally would appreciate a little more understanding and patience. That's my two cents, but I'm Canadian, and we're notoriously overly polite, so this might be a slight overreaction. Eh. I didn't think I was "interrogating" him. I was just legitimately interested. I like Kobold, and I kind of like to think that everyone here is on friendly terms with each other, even if we don't know a whole lot about each others' personal lives. I definitely wasn't trying to pressure him into writing if he wasn't feeling it.

I made myself a sizable enough part of this that I can't complain that people are curious when I suddenly disappear. (Can I start calling myself the RP's Night's Sorrow now? Well, it's one of mine and not Winter's characters but imagine the worst parts of Shiny Sparkle merged with Nighthound.

Who would these "interesting interactions" be with? If we're talking about someone Ivystorm, then very interesting. I don't, however, know enough about Lyla to say what she would be like with my characters. Charisma would be guaranteed interesting to interact with, but not in any scary way. I understand the basic turf-war sort of thing going on, along with several of the major factions. I'm currently 5 pages into reading the thread, but it'll be at least a few weeks until I can finish it. For my character, I'd be interested in serving in a majority of the factions, especially any Vanilla ones. Is there a list of different groups somewhere?

Silly idea that occurred to me. Posting my progress of reading through the threads, much like Twi did for Sanders books... But posting those thoughts in 'what Happened Outside of Canon', and 'In-Character' as Lyla. The crazy epic fangirl turns into a crazy Oregon fangirl.: P 3

I can help just off the top of my head The three major ones: Empire of Light: lead by Lightwards, aiming to conquer Portland and then the world and turn it into an undead paradise Prominent members: Doctor Funtimes, Nighthound, Saccharine, Purple Phoenix The Dominion: lead by Corpsemaker, aims to conquer the state of Oregon Prominent members: Electro, Timeport, Upgrade, Toymaker Thoughttown: lead by Altermind, aims to secure their dominance of Thoughttown and protect themselves from the other factions Prominent members: Sightline, Voidgaze, Aldo Smaller ones: The Black Hand (?): sort of lead by Max, aims to overthrow Epics Prominent members: Gordon, the Reckoners Minor Epic Empire: lead by Zip, aims to conquer Portland Prominent members: Mad Ballooner.... + others
