I guess she doesn't necessarily need to have made that distinction, and she might not know Arsenal is behind the missiles. Or, I guess it is equally possible that Emma has it out for Arsenal. Should I do a Taylor post next, or wait for Frostfire? If someone shoots Deathwish, the damage doesn't redirect to the person who manufactured the gun. It redirects to the person who pulled the trigger. Arsenal created the missiles, but Quicksilver's the one who's been throwing them off their courses with wild abandon. And if Deathwish was struck by one of them, his power would interpret Quicksilver as the person causing the damage. 1

Comatose he/him Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 That makes sense. Lucky for Arsenal though that Vondra stepped in and stopped him. If he had kept making new weapons, and a non-redirected projectile had hit Deathwish he would have been in trouble. Plus, y-know, there's the whole being corrupted and going kind of evil thing. On that note, I have to say Kobold, I've really enjoyed how you've been show-casing Arsenal's corruption over time. On the posting front, any thoughts about if me or Aonar should go next? 1

At most, any injuries from bystanders are shared responsibility I would think. After all, it is no more the 'fault' of the deflector than it is the 'fault' of the firer. 1

On that note, I have to say Kobold, I've really enjoyed how you've been show-casing Arsenal's corruption over time. Thanks! That means a lot to me to hear. I've worked hard to depict him at a believable pace. Which believe me is hard, considering The Dalles RP has only seen a couple of in-game days. From an ethical standpoint I'd agree with you. It would be a shared responsibility. Deathwish's power seeks out only the most immediate direct cause of the damage to his body, however, and isn't very concerned with moral or legal interpretations. 2

Yeah it's certainly at least partially Arsenal's fault but Deathwish's power only assigns damage based on cause, not fault. Like when he got Impact to stab him, it was way more his fault than hers but she was the one who actually pushed it in so she copped the damage.

I may edit it later with more description and stuff, it won't change any of the story elements but just something written a bit better. I really wanted to write it today but I just feel like something didn't click properly, so it doesn't feel quite right. So yeah, hopefully I'll edit it later and make it flow a bit better, and then I can enjoy getting to shoot both Nighthound and Timeport simultaneously. (I er... snuck in a couple of extra shots into Nighthound, completely by accident of course. )

I think I already did, but I now know it again. EDIT: Almost at 200 now probably going to leave it here for now. Only 9,800 more to go! (I think, I actually have no idea how many Epics I have but it's a lot)

Proto-bioterror is (Counter-value), I think Bioterrors full profile lies in a different doc though, I was on holiday when I wrote down his full profile so I may have made a new doc for ideas. I also started skipping over already claimed Epics after a bit, since my other docs are a terrible mess and I don't update them so there's a bunch of Epics who have already been claimed in there that aren't listed as claimed.

In other news, Clarence Eaves is no more! Only Adelmo Espinoza remains.
