TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted January 30, 2016 Author Posted January 30, 2016 They could but then most of their viewpoints are just internal monologue, given how long game days have been the times that they'd actually be away and able to plot would be pretty far apart. But I suppose if enough people made Vanilla characters it could work, guards could talk to each other when not around Epics, servants could spit in Epics tea while they're unobserved and gossip, etc. That's what I'm hoping for—that more players will adopt vanilla characters so that more interesting storylines can develop.

Voidus Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 Well the MEE is pretty much going to be obliterated soon I'm sure so I need some new canon fodder, might as well adopt all of the Vanillas to fill in for now. Plus now I really want to write a Vanilla server who gets to spit in Nighthounds tea.

Voidus Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 At present I'm thinking a guard in Thoughttown (Since I may be abandoning Strongsteel, he came along a bit late to fit into any plot I think), a Vanilla leader in the Dalles city guard (The one who just gave Scribbler her orders), maybe one of toymakers creations? (Not exactly a Vanilla but certainly interesting) and a bunch of random crazy people. Because I like writing crazy people.

Gives you plenty of chances to talk to other RPers and also still have some effect on what goes on, though the vanilla might get killed by an annoyed Epic if they don't get all the info.

Mashadar Mistborn he/him Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 edit : Also, has the whole Elsa issue been resolved? I haven't heard any discussion of that. Beyond that, I'm also wondering what happened to Mashadar adopting Sightline. Is that still a thing, or what? I still have Sightline. I just haven't had an opportunity to use him yet.
