KChan she/her Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 I have to second Matt's recommendation of Hyperbole and a Half and Lackadaisy. Both of those are so ridiculously good. I also still read Megatokyo, despite its now unpredictable update schedule. It's actually getting really interesting, so new pages are worth the wait so long as you have something else to entertain you in the meantime.
Eerongal he/him Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 so here's yet another i forgot: The Oatmeal Also: im surprised no one else has mentioned it yet.
KChan she/her Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 I've never actually heard of that one. Then again, I'm really not a huge conoisseur of webcomics to begin with. so I shouldn't be surprised.
ZeldaDad he/him Posted May 1, 2011 Author Posted May 1, 2011 So many! Haha. I'm going to have to catch up on the few I've started before checking these others out now. Looks like I'll have a nice reference guide for the future.

Here's some of my recommendations from em: How to pet a kitty Cat vs Internet Minor differences Part 1 Part 2 and Part 3 Email Etiquette Captain Higgins and plenty of others, but those are just a handful of good ones
Silus - Shard of Flame he/him Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 Oooh, Oatmeal is a great one. Similar to HAAH (whose initials are a palindrome, zomg) but more comic than blog focused, and with less awesome/crazy stories and more condemnations of humanity (in good humor, of course).
FeatherWriter she/her Posted May 7, 2011 Posted May 7, 2011 So, the reason I haven't been on much in the last few days. YOU MENTIONED LICD. WHY IN THE WORLD DID I READ THROUGH THE ENTIRE ARCHIVE???? Though it did get better as I went along. It's not usually my brand of humor (sheltered) the characters got more complex and I always love a webcomic that's long enough to have a plethora of inside jokes.

Though it did get better as I went along. It's not usually my brand of humor (sheltered) the characters got more complex and I always love a webcomic that's long enough to have a plethora of inside jokes. Haha. I did the same thing, though this comic is pretty much right up my alley. I'm currently going through the whole archive of Giants in the Playground. It's pretty funny so far, though I've never played any of the types of games it is constantly referencing.
Silus - Shard of Flame he/him Posted May 7, 2011 Posted May 7, 2011 I love Order of the Stick, and I haven't played D&D in any real way. So I'm pretty much in the same boat, Endra.
ZeldaDad he/him Posted May 7, 2011 Author Posted May 7, 2011 Yeah, it's pretty hilarious whether you have played D&D or not. I'm at like #202 right now.
Link Von Kelsier Harvey he/him Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 I just went through this entire thread, just to make sure. Two pages of webcomics, and not one mention of Dr. McNinja? SHAME ON YOU. 1
Silus - Shard of Flame he/him Posted May 21, 2011 Posted May 21, 2011 I know Brandon's a big fan of Dr. McNinja, I just haven't read it yet. It's on my (extremely long) list.
Eerongal he/him Posted May 22, 2011 Posted May 22, 2011 I know Brandon's a big fan of Dr. McNinja, I just haven't read it yet. It's on my (extremely long) list. Dr McNinja is awesome. They did a collaborative crossover with axe cop and dr mcninja a while back that was pretty sweet. Also: i've recently started reading ratfist. It's pretty awesome so far.
Joe ST he/him Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 Ratfist is pretty good, thanks for sharing A few new ones I just read through: Girls with Slingshots, Misfile, Omake Theater, Girl Genius, Wapsi Square (Yes quite a few 'girly' ones >.>)
KChan she/her Posted June 9, 2011 Posted June 9, 2011 I just started reading Sam and Fuzzy (starting at the new "jumping on" point). It's highly enjoyable so far.
Kuri Shardweaver he/him Posted June 9, 2011 Posted June 9, 2011 Well, since none of these were mentioned, I'll go ahead and plug three of my favorites. The Abominable Charles Christoper-Amazing story that perfectly gravitates between humor and serious business, and the art is INCREDIBLE. Kukuburi- Been on Hiatus for a bit, and will be for a bit longer, but it's a pretty epic story thus far, and the art is pretty sweet too. Homestuck- The current story on Mspaint Adventures, I stumbled upon Homestuck and powered through the entire backlog in a handful of days. I'm...not really sure what to make of it other than 'awesome'. Be forewarned the language can be a bit harsh at times, particularly when the Trolls are involved.
Phantom Monstrosity Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 I just burned through the archives of A Redtail's Dream. It's a really good fantasy comic, based off Finnish myth. A boy and his dog take a journey into the lands of dream to retrieve the other members of their village. The author has actually just finished writing it, but it's being updated six times a week from her buffer of about a hundred comic pages.
Observer Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 Kuri....I hate you. I reached this page without it having been mentioned, and just when I thought it was safe to post, you sniped me >_> I got amazingly bored while browsing the internet, and decided to check out the super-hyped thing called "Homestuck". Being bored and possessed of a really screwed up sense of humor, I actually managed to get through the first, like, 3 weeks of reader-suggested crap and down to the good stuff. And surprise surprise, it actually was good. Good characters, nice plot. Either that or I'm just a huge sucker for anything that can do time travel and stable time loops correctly. Who can say? And, of course, xkcd, which I can proudly say I have read all the way through, along with the amazing "what if"s.
Phantom Monstrosity Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 Have you read Problem Sleuth yet? What about Ryanquest?
Joe ST he/him Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 I'm up to about 50 new pages a day XD there's some awesome story out there
Senor Feesh Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 (edited) I love webcomics, and I almost promise to cone back and turn these into correctly formatted links later.Olympus Overdrive - quite new, uses the fact that it's a digital comic to do things you can't do in print (and does it well).Oglaf - VERY NSFW but if you're cool with that it's damned hilarious.Go Get a Roomie - again, a fair bit of sexual content but with some really nice depth (and rarely if ever graphic). Has some real heart to it.Gunnerkrigg Court - simply sublime. That is all.Khaos Komix - a comic that deals with LGBT relationships tastefully and sensitively. Can be NSFW, and some stories have trigger warnings for people who have had bad experiences. Now finished and can be perused at your leisure.Next Town Over - fantasy in the wild west. Still in its infancy, beautiful artwork.Seems I have a few 'adult' comics there, but many people already listed others that I read Edited June 9, 2013 by Senor Feesh
Observer Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 (edited) Have you read Problem Sleuth yet? Now that Homestuck is on hiatus, I've tried getting into PS, but it's so many steps back and such a reminder of the first weeks of reading that I'm having a tough time. Edited June 9, 2013 by Observer
Cartith he/him Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 Order of the Stick is amazing. I just did a reread of it, and it still had me in tears of laughter by the 10th strip. It updates weekly, one strip at a time. 1
Zizoz he/him Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 Here are the webcomics that I'm currently following: xkcd Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal Order of the Stick Homestuck Kagerou HERO Lackadaisy Ava's Demon
