There are ways around everything. I can't imagine Iowa being uber expensive. I can't imagine that you'll have to live in the crime-infested part of town with drive by square-dancings just to get by. So long as you know how to budget, I can't see the offered salary being bad. Even with veterinarian care.

In other news, my family's started watching The Flash, which we're very much enjoying. But as it is with all superhero shows, our enjoyment has been significantly affected by the Reckoners books. In every episodes everyone in the house is yelling one of the following: "How is this villain a threat? He doesn't even have a prime invincibility. Lame." "OH SPARKS IT'S A HIGH EPIC. FALL BACK, BARRY, FALL BACK!" Note that I did not say this was a problem. Ha, me and my step-father had a similair reaction when watching the series, except he doesn't know Reckoners.
