I'm pretty sure she wouldn't be doing this if I'd gotten a callback for that Spokane job I applied for. <_<

<_<

There are ways around everything. I can't imagine Iowa being uber expensive. I can't imagine that you'll have to live in the crime-infested part of town with drive by square-dancings just to get by. So long as you know how to budget, I can't see the offered salary being bad. Even with veterinarian care.

Was visiting family over the weekend.

Niece #2 (AKA Frodo, because I'm a nerd) has her own sort of language that is a lot like German.

In it I am called Da-Deutsch.

Wouldn't they be Demon Sultan Pugs?

Would that make Bruce Nyarlathpurtep?

Remember the phone interview I had for Algona, IA?

They want me to fly out for an on-site interview.

Hopefull these people will see the eldritch horror awesomeness of your being and not descent into madness.

Hope this turns out well for you, Twi. :)

In other news, my family's started watching The Flash, which we're very much enjoying. But as it is with all superhero shows, our enjoyment has been significantly affected by the Reckoners books. In every episodes everyone in the house is yelling one of the following:

"How is this villain a threat? He doesn't even have a prime invincibility. Lame."

"OH SPARKS IT'S A HIGH EPIC. FALL BACK, BARRY, FALL BACK!"

Note that I did not say this was a problem.

Ha, me and my step-father had a similair reaction when watching the series, except he doesn't know Reckoners. With time it gor worse and devolved into

stop talking you idiot and punch him before he can do anything.

I think the name would be Brucepughotep. The Crawling Puggles.

Maddie decided to chew on a book today. It had to be, of course, my first edition copy of Steelheart.

It seems that she has good taste. *drumroll*

Lame jokes aside, I hope the book is still okay.

I will be teaching this to her on our next visit.

Let's hope you pronounce it as awesome sounding as it actually is.

In a good way, I hope. :P

In the best was that's not immediately before the climax of the story.
