TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 You want to hear something weird? Of course you do. So, you remember the day I said I planned on going grunge, right? Or grunge-ish, I suppose. Before that, I had kind of a sophisticated hippie style—peasant blouses, nice leather boots, lots of lace. The day before I decided that, I'd get ads for this dress on my newsfeed: And I thought it was so cute. I went to the site and admired some of their other dresses, especially these: The day after I decided to change my style, the same ad for the same dress showed up again, and I was overwhelmed with feelings of meh. Tonight, I'm sitting here looking at these dresses I once wanted to wear every single day, and I think "meh" might be overstating my excitement. I don't know; it's just weird that my tastes changed so fast. 2
Kestrel she/her Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 The art demands a blood sacrifice! ..... ..... .... HOLY ME LARK YOU ARE A GENIUS! Art, blood sacrifice, I can turn this into something terrifying, thank you. NO

TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 Ah, the joys of band t shirts and jeans every day. Then get as many different clothes as possible so you can dress however you feel like. Right now, it's mostly plain T-shirts and jeans with some plaid flannel shirts I bought from the guys' department. I don't know; I just like the way those too-big shirts look on me. I also have a few sweaters, one baggy and two not. I don't know if other people think I look good and I don't care. 1

I'm terrified of what you might write Good, then I have at least created an aura of horror XD Not that my stories are that scary, they are mostly weird...
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 I bet you look really good Thanks. Me with all of the Christmas icons: How do I make Christmas Lerasium? Um….make it red and green?
Young Bard he/him Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 Shopping online for my parents' Christmas presents. …. I give up. No, seriously, I give up. They both like books, but they're so picky about what they'll read. My dad already owns everything Malcolm Gladwell ever wrote, so that's out, and I don't want to risk getting him a book by an author he's never read because there's a good chance he won't like it. He wants those big, absorbing fiction books, which seems to call for Stormlight or Mistborn, but he's not a huge fantasy reader and, again, I don't want to try another series by an author I haven't read because he might not like it. My mom….she's in a whole other ballpark. She likes political books and books on theology, but neither are really my forte so I have no idea what to get her. My brother is getting her a book she asked for, and I have a feeling one of my sisters is going to do the same, so I'm stuck. Stranded. Oh, and if I take a chance on a theology book that looks interesting? Decent chance she'll hate it, because if she doesn't agree with 99.999% of the theology in a book, she rants about it for days. …. And yes, I thought of getting them both cheese platters. It was a terrible idea then, and it's a terrible idea now. My annual Christmas shopping: Mother: Chocolates. I could never go wrong with chocolates. Father: Anything but chocolates. He hates the things. 2
Mestiv he/him Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 My annual Christmas shopping: Mother: Chocolates. I could never go wrong with chocolates. Father: Anything but chocolates. He hates the things. My shopping for parents: Father: Some kind of logical puzzle to take apart or a book I'd like to read Mother: A book about healthy food and a bag of fancy tea. Christmas is not that hard
Kestrel she/her Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 I drank the last cup of actual coffee in the house Mom was not pleased She is now suffering through some stale hotel coffee

Curious Anamaximder he/him Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 Let me tell you a story: Lo, Ookla the Secretive began on a writing journey 2 weeks ago. He dreamed of glorious islands and a unique magic system comparable to Mistborn. He sat at the slow computer and placed his fingers on the ancient keyboard. He sang, and words filled Word. 1,000. 2,000. 5,000. 10,000. 20,000. Words galore! He sat down last night, about to finish the story and pressed the wrong key. The story, gone. The notes gone. And thus Ookla the Secretive wept. 5

Curious Anamaximder he/him Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 I will cry with you :( Thanks. I actually had 35,000 words at the end.
ChickenPlague he/him Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 I am very sad now. But if you redo it you can make it better.
Quiver he/him Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 So... have any of you guys seen the new Bat,am v Superman trailer? This trailers are doing a great job of making me excited for Wonder Woman's movie. 1

It's quite easy to restore photos that were deleted from the hard drive, it should be possible to do the same to Word documents. Anything that has a well known structure. I wish I could advice some specific programme, but I've never needed one for documents.

Quiver he/him Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 But not, oddly enough, the movie they're advertising, in my case. Oddly nothing. That's my point; I'm not particularly excited for this film... But hey, Wonder Woman looks cool!
Mestiv he/him Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 I didn't really enjoy Man of Steel, so it's not exciting to me at all. I wish there was a Batman movie with Afleck first, so we can get to know his version of batman first. Wonder Woman and Batman introduced in one movie is a bit too much I think.
Orlion Blight he/him Posted December 8, 2015 Author Posted December 8, 2015 Lex Luthor seems to be a much better Joker than the Joker we're going to end up with in Suicide squad. 2
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 Lex Luthor seems to be a much better Joker than the Joker we're going to end up with in Suicide squad. I got the feeling that Eisenberg auditioned for the Joker and was both baffled and dismayed when Snyder told him he'd make a much better Luthor. 1
