Not really, I'm just surprised is all. I was writing The Honor Spren's Secret Santa gift and... um... hey, these two are actually really cute together...

One, that fanfic was kind of cute (oh who am I kidding it was flat out adorable), and two, I absentmindedly started thinking of what their couple name would be.

Kaladin Sparkle.

*flomp*  I just had my mom, stepdad, brother, brother's girlfriend, and my nephew over for gifts and Christmas lunch.  I made a turkey.  There were other foods.  And everyone said it was yummy.

...when do I get my adulting trophy?

I mean, pretty much everything you said fits her profile.

I...but...I wasn't thinking about ponies.  I was just...but...

besides, Derpy is awesome

"Have you seen the pins?"

"Yeah, turns out they are to small for voodoo. Are you loosing some hair?"

For best effect actually have a voodoo doll on your desk.

Random factoid from someone I know who's actually studied the vodoun religion:  the real use of putting pins into stuffy dolls is to pin blessings to the person.

*Presents Kaymyth with an adulting trophy in pure plastic*

Sure, but people dont know that and you cant make horror stories out of people pinning blessings to people and now I want to disprove myself.

Don't you know? The adulting trophy is the first utensil you buy for your own household, be it a vacuum cleaner or a frying pan.

So mine trophy is the toilet brush... The most fitting shape for adulting trophy!

Metal sharp objects that grant blessings... Hemalurgy! Earth is Cosmere!

Mine...is probably a serving spoon.  Meh.

Well if you really want an adulting trophy you can put some glitter on your husband and write "Number 1 Adult/Forum Mom/High Priestess of a religion dedicated to a fictional character" on him with glittery colors.

I don't think he'd ever forgive me if I covered him in glitter.

Oh, it was so fun to write.

it was so fun to read. :D

Seriously, I want more. It was awesome.

In other news, I have an awkward story for you all.

So there I was, watching the new Star Wars movie. (This story contains no spoilers, I promise you.) It gets to a good part and I, not realizing what I was doing, adjusted my position in the seat and ended up with my knees resting on the back of the seat in front of me. The lady in front of me felt it, then turned around and asked me politely not to put my feet on the seat. Sorry, I said, but she thought I was saying sorry in the sense that I hadn't caught what she said. She repeated herself, than I repeated myself. We each repeated ourselves 3 times before she gave up and turned back to the screen.

When the movie was over, I got out as quickly as possible, just so she couldn't turn around in time to see me.:ph34r:

You handled it better than I would have. I'd have assumed she was repeating herself to be snotty and stormed out of the theater for a quick break.

Well . . . She was kind of elderly. And the music was loud at the time. I don't blame her for not understanding. It was dark, but I think she might have been old enough to wear hearing aids. -_-

I'm not saying I'd be right....actually, I'd probably be very wrong.

Bless LEGO for including Rey in their Episode VII sets and actually, honestly having an action figure of her as well!

Why . . . Wouldn't they include her? she's sort of the main protagonist . . .

Target hasn't. Or Hasbro. There were some articles somebody linked on the spoiler board, if you're interested.

Because toy making companies are quite sexist and cannot imagine that a female can be a hero :/

I literally know nothing about Star Wars 7 besides the fact that there is Han Solo and Chewy, there is a droid with an R2 head and a ball for a body, and there are Jedi. That's about it. Also, I know there are no spoilers on the Shard except for Kipper's post (I actually read it. It made zero sense to me) and the spoiler board.
