She's more like Alastair Moody, except for calling for "Constant vigilance!" about Death Eaters, she calls for it about health. And she does it by latching onto a new homeopathic fad every year or two. Once she smeared my skin with so much essential oil that it stank up my favorite sweater and I had to take it off. When my dad let on that he wasn't feeling well, she hooked him up to this machine that gives off rhythmic electronic "healing" pulses and the only way to get away from it is to say you feel better. So she's less an elemental Mage and more a Squib who thinks she's a Healer.

Yeah, you'll want to fix that. This will help you learn, I suppose, but you should be able to get a PnP (Plug and play) drive like kaymyth mentioned. You might also be able to install your own in the laptop.
