Yes, careful with that stuff, I might set it on fire! Or weirder things, last time someone tried to holy water me it exploded into saber toothed bunnies.

I wouldn't mind a flock of saber toothed bunnies.

Wait... do you call them a flock? Or a pack? A pride? A murder? A herd? I'm not sure what the proper nomenclature for fanged lagamorphs is.

I have investigated the wrapped presents from my husband.  I strongly suspect the Bang! Big Bullet Box is among them.

Funny story… I only discovered Evolution because I looked in the categories that Wildlife was tagged in on BoardGameGeek. I looked at Wildlife on BoardGameGeek because *gasp* you mentioned it a long while back.

Yeah, that definitely sounds like a lot for a novice game designer to integrate. There are doubtless some resources on game design available on that glorious compilation of knowledge that is the Internet. Perhaps you could look into that. Is the end goal of the board game still having your species develop the technology or magic needed to leave their homeworld?

I thought I'd talked about it before. It's a fun game, though most of the time our games descend into endless interspecies wars. Wait, did I say 'though'? I meant 'because'. :P

Something like that. The idea of the game is simply for chaos to ensue when a bunch of mad gods tinker with a planet with no regard for what everyone else is doing, triggering ecological meltdowns, planet-spanning wars, and sentient gingerbread men with the unstoppable urge to destroy the world. It'll be a card game, so the primary way of doing these things is to combine various base cards together, hopefully allowing for near-limitless possibilities.

I'm also toying with the idea of motive cards at the beginning establishing what sort of spirits the players are, kept secret from the other players unless it benefits them to reveal themselves. Spirits of war win if two equal races become locked in eternal conflict. Nature spirits win if they create the perfect ecosystem. Civilization guardians win if they create a species capable of leaving the planet, Ruin wins by destroying the planet, Discord wins by successfully inventing chocolate rain, etc etc. I've got more blank index cards than I know what to do with, so I think I'll design multiple prototypes for the game and figure out what works by trial and error.

It's been years since I've played that! Looks like fun times for you are ahead... if you can avoid Holy Water!

This is the game that I bought for my family and I to play on Christmas : https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/155703/evolution

I thought some of you *cough cough* Kobold King *cough cough* would be interested, because it is pretty awesome.

I've been seeing that around. It's been a while since I've bought a board game... because I have no one to play them with!  :(

I must remember to show this to my youngest sister. The parental units have been mean to her lately.

This cat has found her domain and it is a happy one. :P

*Sees the name Geoffrey Bauman*

*Reads it as Gallifrey Batman*

Gallifrey Batman...

I'm picturing Jeopardy:

"These two words describe the Doctor"

Okay, I've had two calls where they hang up the second I answer. I think they're trying to test how quickly I can get to the phone.

Does your work normally have a bunch of calls? Because those sound like automated spam-calls that are sent out just to see if someone will answer... I got quite a few of them a few months back >_<

So maybe if you have a much lower call volume, these calls are able to get through? Maybe it isn't some jerk manager shopping his employees?

I posted more today than I've ever posted in a single day before.

What has joining the Reckoners RPG done to me?

It's a process. Once your shell of a body has been drained of its soul, it will be filled with some foul essence that will transform you into a roynish caricature of your former self!

Or maybe I'm thinking of eating the new mozzarella sticks at McDonalds, what am I? A doctor of filosophizing?

Because I don't know what is going on over there, and at this point, I'm afraid to ask.

Eh, that's okay. None of us know what happened either. :P

I joined up and suddenly found myself a priestess in a KFC for an epic that has a religion based on lucky numbers.

Joiiiiin usssssss.... We have chicken....

In other news, I finally saw Star Wars: The Force Awakens! It was fabulous.

Does he know about your snooping? What is his reaction?

Well, they're sitting there wrapped on the dining room table.  I don't think he's really trying to hide them at this point.

Just wait...I ordered some blank cards from a place in Italy.  Soon, I'm going to create the Alloy of Law expansion.  Mistborn Era 2 Bang! will soon be a thing that is mine.

I'm right there with ya.  Which is funny, because I think some people assume I'm part of the Reckoners RP because of my pony avatars.

Don't be afraid. We have tamed the dark alley to make non spiked cookies.

'Cause that is how we role.

We welcome all.

That moment when you realize precisely how strange you are.

Am I the only one who likes to eat straight dijon mustard and cream cheese?

But not together. But come to think of it, that might be good.
