I do not have anything witty to say right now, but I am at the end of Grave Peril and I really wonder how Harry is going to survive this...

... turtles... are turtles scary?

No, wrong question...

Could I make turtles scary?

Trust me you can make anything scary.

I dont know, I think I failed with sleeping next to a significant other and bath ducks... which is why you havent read them... then again the ideas are cool, I just need to fix the stories.

Turtles, turtles... patterns... I think I am on to something... I really hope I die with my brain intact so scientists can study my thought patterns, I am sure they would find something very interesting in there...

Ok, turtles, carapace patterns, something...

What? It can't be too hard to make it scary...

*starts to imagine ways to fit scary ideas I had into one of my projects instead of actualy writing it*

On turtles, imagine a ghost town on a wandering islang that is a giant turtle god that is slowly dying. Now imagine that turtle winding up in a faraway beach in Alaska to sleep a little. Now make things get weirder.

You have only begun to explore the sheer volume of times where you wonder how Harry is going to survive.

While I love the old Turtle Island trope I find it a bit too generic... turtles, and patterns...

An old man finds turtles with strange patterns, maybe. I need to write to figure out what it is about.

If it happened in the universe my books are in, it would most likely be something an ancient wizard bred into a turtle population, and those patterns would be a code carrying frozen imprints of his memories and identity, and the old man would become said wizard after decoding the patterns in his dreams.

Honestly, you can take the idea if you want. I have too many ideas and too little dedication to take care of then all.

It is a good idea, but you write that, I want something that is my own.

Turtles, patterns, old man. I feel like I will get it to work as soon as I write it. I am starting to think of Uzumaki for some reason... I guess that has something to do with patterns...
