My brother says Twelve gets better, but I can't bring myself to watch and see him proven wrong.

He gets way better, at least in my opinion. :)

I happen to love the guitar, as it happens. From the moment he first appeared with it in The Magician's Apprentice, I knew I'd finally accepted him as the Doctor. :D

Am I the only person here who hasn't seen a single episode of Dr.Who?

The only one in the world.  Shame!  Shame!  <activates Big Brother screens in all directions>

Missy? With a companion?

Companion: What would happen if I stole your TARDIS?

Missy: Oh, I imagine it would be quite painful...

Companion: Really?

Missy: For you, dearie.

In all seriousness, I would feel sorry for whoever Missy's companion was.

If we could just get a couple of episodes of Missy getting a 'companion' and travelling with them that would be great. Without the Doctor being anywhere near the episode.

If I were showrunner, I'd have the Doctor take on a new companion: a teenage girl from a seventh-century Aleut community, whose focus on family means her parents travel along on some of their adventures. But it's okay, because they're every bit as awesome as she is. I actually have a nicely creepy episode in mind where he and his companion encounter a Navajo skinwalker.

Who's Missy?

<has only seen a couple episodes of Dr Who ever>

Dr Who spoilers

Missy is the Master, who regenerated into a female, and decided to call herself the Mistress, or Missy for short.

Also, does anyone else have River in their head whenever they type

What are the chances of you writing this fanfiction after A Kind of Magic?:D

Well, I made myself a silent promise that if I became uber-famous and was doing an AMA, instead of RAFO I would use:

I didn't know about Sanderson back when we had Nine, or I would have said, "I don't really like Nine, but we're going to have TenSoon."

ThirdGen made more or less that same joke to me some weeks back.  If he hadn't been sitting on the other side of the office at the time, I might've smacked him.  Still, upvote for you.

Not sure. I'd need to do more research on both medieval Aleut and semi-modern Navajo, especially to see precisely which era I'd put the episode in. Though I do know the last lines….

COMPANION: Doctor? That….that thing. You said things sometimes come from other worlds and wind up on ours. Where was it from?

DOCTOR: It was from here.

I like all the Doctors I have seen (Which are only the modern ones, Im only 21, dont hurt me), 11 does get a bit annoying at times, 12 was kind of boring last season (though last season was The Clara Oswald Show...), but this season I love 12, he turns into Clint Eastwood levels of sheer coolness in the last episode.

That'd be an awesome episode. :D

See, my only ideas are about having the Doctor team up with a medieval knight to fight Cybermen or visit Mars when the Ice Warriors were still in power.

Why don't we have both?

And I confess my suggestions come somewhat from amusement at Moffatt's fascination with America. I can just picture him in his studio, reading a book on American history, telling us, "You're so INTERESTING! WHY CAN I NOT UNDERSTAND YOU?":P

The Doctor teams up with a medieval knight to fight a skin-walker on ancient Mars?

If I did DW fanfiction my emphasis would be the vastness of the universe. I mean, there are literally billions of years and light years of time and space to explore. I'd love to see companions who are alien or from centuries in the past or future.

Nah, the skinwalker should remain a Northern Arizona thing, IMO. Though I'd love to see an ancient Mars episode.

No problem. We just need to transport a medieval knight and ancient Mars to Northern Arizona. Shouldn't be too hard--this is, after all, Doctor Who.
