Mistrunner Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 (edited) August is the only month of the year that has no Holidays. Yes it does. My birthday. I've been telling my congressman they should make it a national holiday, but nooooo...Today in Government I was writing down vocab words. I wrote "chief of staff," then zoned out for a second. Then I looked at my paper and realized I had written "chief of snacks!", exclamation point and all. My subconscious must be telling me something. Hand over them pretzels. Also, I've decided the chief of snacks is the guy in charge of bringing lemonade, cookies, chips and dip to the cabinet meetings. Those guys get hungry too! Edited November 5, 2015 by Mistrunner 4

With all the waste at the federal level, their chief of snacks is probably instructed to bring them nothing less than caviar and tea brewed from pure gold leaf. 1

Rebel spaceships, striking from a hidden base, have won their first victory against the evil Galactic Empire. During the battle, rebel spies managed to to steal secret plans to the Empire's ultimate weapon, the DEATH STAR, an armored space station with enough power to destroy an entire planet. Pursued by the Empire's sinister agents, Princess Leia races home aboard her starship, custodian of the stolen plans that can save her people and restore freedom to the galaxy.... Sorry, I'm just really really hyped for Star Wars (anyone else going December 17th?), and I saw the opportunity to make a clever cultural reference while ninja'ing everybody who wanted to make the next Random Stuff thread. So badchull. Before the Random commences, I just have one question for you, the first viewer of this post. If I pull that mask off, will you die? I'm actually seeing The Force Awakens late on the 16th, during a 7 movie Star Wars marathon.

I thought maybe it was a job I had applied to, but they didn't leave a voicemail and some Googlemancy told me the number is invalid, but it came from somewhere near Galvaston, TX. Some states permit you to file law suits in state court against persons or entities violating the do-not-call rules. You may be awarded $500 in damages or actual monetary loss, whichever is greater. The amount may be tripled if you are able to show that the caller violated the rules willfully and knowingly. Filing a complaint with the FCC does not prevent you from also bringing a suit in state court.

That one holiday that just keeps turning up with all that weird decoration which during a couple weeks gets worse and worse and then suddenly it is just gone? That last one would be weird, as no one has ever actually figured out when it is. Last year it happened twice, this year only once so far. unless your birthday also just randomly happens, which is pretty cool. The 31st of April? 3
