Well, see, gingers sustain ourselves by nibbling off tiny pieces of the souls of people we meet, cobbling it together into one multisoul that lets us get around. But it makes us difficult to devour ourselves, as we are made up of multitudes, which is too hard for soul-eaters to overwhelm. This conversation makes less and less sense the further it goes on... 2

I knew this girl who had dyed her hair red and was talking about this same thing. Actually, it was more like there was a conversation going on, and I was that person who wanted to be a part of it, but was stuck at the edges. Dyed hair: Oh yeah, It's red from all the souls I've devoured. I used to only be able to do cockroaches that really annoyed me, but I've worked my way up to large squirrels by now. Guy who is naturally ginger: Well, no matter how you get it, red hair is always hot. Dyed hair's brother: Are you hitting on my little sister?
