And Dalinar pulls off the victory, barely defeating Wayne!

Only four remain. Vin, the Ascendant Warrior. Vasher, Warbreaker the Peaceful. Kelsier, the Survivor of Hathsin. And Dalinar, The Blackthorn. Which two among these will move on to the final round?

The first match that will decide who goes onto the next round is Vin vs. Vasher! Once again, I am very sorry that I was unable to update this yesterday, I had some family stuff going on.

Vin, because she is the one who actualy cares about whatever the people she kills deserve or not, while Vasher throws Nightblood around and lets his breatgs decide. Yeah, the sociopath's appretice is the one who cares more about human life.

Are you kidding? Vin's methods are subjective. She can, and has, been manipulated into murdering good people. (See the attack on Cett's Men). Vasher's methods are objective. They can't kill people who aren't evil. Neither of them care about human life. They only care about the ones they love, and want to do the right thing. But Vasher actually looks for Evidence before commencing with execution.

Then why did Dalinar beat Odium?

This is a populrity contest, no more, no less. You can vote for Vin because she's 'More capable' (Opinion) if you want to, but that doesn't change the nature of the vote. This is for who is more liked.

Even if Vin had Preservation and all the mistfallen at her command, I would still vote Vasher, because he's cooler.

EDIT: Also, you missed the point. I was just refuting his statement. that wasn't my argument for voting for vasher.

This is only a popularity contest if one chooses to make it so. If this was solely a popularity contest, than Lopen wouldn't have been the first one out, and Wayne wouldn't have lost to Dalinar. While there is no doubt that some people have been voting based on which character they like more (perfectly acceptable) there have also been several people who vote on who they think would win in a fight (also perfectly acceptable). This is not ONLY a popularity contest.

The very fact that people are using different methods to vote makes it a popularity contest. If anyone can come up with their own reason to vote, rather than being limited to whoever is the stronger fighter, like some people are choosing to do, then it becomes a popularity contest.

I never said Vin didn't kill much people she shouldn't kill, but she did regret it, and when she fought the Koloss, she felt relief at knowing that she could be sure killing them was the right thing. Plus, according to the Warbreaker annotations, thinking about selling Nightblood or questioning your own morality are enough to be sent to the death-rage. So Vasher's methods are objective, but to say they can't kill innocents is stupid.
