I noticed that the topic "you know you're a sanderfan when..." thread started a lot of good conversations. This is like that, but instead, for being a geek or nerd. By the way, I wear those titles proudly. Well, here goes.

You know you are a (manga) geek/nerd when you went to the school library three times in a day to check out manga comics. (I'm obsessed with manga/animae).

So... think. What type of nerd/geek are you?

When you are obsessed with getting good grades, and you can't stand getting to school even close to late.

I feel so inferior. So far, all the replies have been by people with WAAYY more upvotes then me. it makes me feel small.

How derivative! We should integrate the importance and beauty of calculus through a series of whippings!

When you are constantly talking about either Dr who, star trek, or star wars. And when you are sad that nobody understands what a certain quote is from.

When you get that look from random passersby when they overhear part of your conversation with your friend (also a geek). Usually the subject is whatever roleplay game we happen to be playing, but we often jump from one universe to another - RP, Star Wars, Arrow/Flash, back to RP, Star Trek, and so on.

When you're learning Spanish, German and Russian simultaneously and then the next time you watch anime you wonder if you should pick up Japanese, or Japanese, Korean and Chinese.

When people ask you if you've watched the news and you reply yes before launching into the latest scientific breakthroughs because science news websites are the only ones you use and you check them 5 times a day.

When you express how much you love a piece of sci-fi or fantasy literature, show or movie by ruthlessly exposing every single flaw in it to anyone who will listen. (Except for Brandons books, which have no flaws, you show how much you love those by being a Sharder and having more friends on the Shard than you do in real life)
