My guess is that somebody has 2 abilities (which likely means that the new holder of Odium is our errant Bloodsealer) and Joe realized that the situation wasn't covered in his preparation.

Simply put, A couple of cycles ago, I accidentally allowed a few players to take multiple actions at night, and only just now realized that it was against the rules. As I can't go back and stop those actions without drastically changing the game, I simply have to let everyone make multiple actions. (After spending an hour trawling through every single PM to make sure anyone else with Two Abilities, couldn't have changed the game too much had they been able to use them both.)

 

So the situation was covered, but I accidentally uncovered it.

Hmm...honestly, I haven't seen anything super suspicious about Paranoid King. What makes you so keen to lynch him, Kipper?

Seonid, PK is suspicious to me for a few reasons, going back to D1.

1. His comments in my PM with him seemed fishy.

2. He was one of the few who knew about Orlok "being" Cultivation.

3. He has just seemed off to me.

4. He hasn't voted for any of the Eliminators so far.

The thing is, when I first started this game, I kept on mixing Kipper and PK up... So seeing Kipper so bent on lynching PK is seriously amusing for me.

1-3? I was going to say 1,2, and 4, but you voted for Eol, so 4 doesn't apply to you. I know 2 does.

 

I'm also going to add a vote to PK. See, I think Alv really did know that I was Cultivation. I don't think he was fooled for a second when Eol told them that I'd said I was covering for Cultivation. He knows me way too well to not see through that major back-tracking I was doing there. But somehow, he got outvoted on who Cultivation was. Hael told me that he thought Orlok was Cultivation because Orlok was one of the first to check the Mass PM. I'm not sure if that's the case, since I didn't check the Mass PM until about 8 hours after I ordered it, since I decided I'd sleep first (and I'm now very glad I made that choice). Eol coming in and saying that I'm covering for Cultivation would help move things away from me despite Alv's probable insistence that it is me. But it doesn't move it any closer to Orlok. But PK hearing from Kipper that Orlok is Cultivation? That would. That would further solidify Hael's own guess and would make it easy to override Alv.

 

Personally, I'm happy he got overridden. I like life. And being Life. It feels good to survive for most of a game. Maybe I'll even fully survive the whole game! (and lose my chance at the Dodo award, unfortunately.  ) ....I actually don't think I will survive though. I'm pretty sure I'm going to die now that my trusted bodyguard is no more. RIP Alvom's Lifeless. I owe you much.

Who has the Dodo award anyways? I seem to remember you saying Alvron had died like 12 times in a row or something like that.

Yep. Alv has it. He's at 11 games in a row right now. He'll be at 12 if/when he dies in the QF. (sorry, Alv. I think I'm just sort of assuming you're going to meet your fate there at this point, though I do kind of hope that you'll somehow make it out....)

Yikes. That's a testament to how good a player he is I guess. But still, that's gotta be frustrating.

 

I think I'll put my vote on STINK. He's been one of the most vocal players this whole game, but he's been very quiet lately. Any reasons for that?

Well, I suppose I had better add my own insights:

1: I like fish, OK?

2: yup, I knew about Orlok "being" cultivation...after you told me in the PM. So not a lot of evidence there.

3: I believe this also falls under the "I like fish" category.

4: yeah, sorry. Up to this point I've been paying more attention to the MR. Now that that is done I should have more time to put together suspicions and vote for people.

This is only my third (2 1/2?) Game. I would think that saving Wilson with my lifeless would redeem my fishyness, but instead it casts more suspicion on me...? I guess I don't grasp the subtleties of SE yet.

EDIT: To elaborate on point 2, I posted the first message in the PM, stating my belief that he was cultivation and then immediately retracting it. (I read the rules ) Kipper responded affirming that he was not cultivation and then immediately saying, and I quote, "I do suspect Orlok is possibly cultivation, but I'm not sure." He then went on to elaborate with his reasons in a later message, debating between Orlok and Dow. When Dowanx Orlok died, I said that that mystery was solved. I seriously don't understand why me "knowing" about Orlok is one of his points.

I agree with Seonid. I don't know why Honey Badger would lie about roleblocking Odium unless he was an OC.

EDIT: I'm gonna remove my vote from Honey badger and place it on Kipper. His reasoning to kill me seems weak.

 

On the plus side, even though I'll be lynched, my lifeless will still be around, protecting people. Because that's how poison works.
