Would they also allow you to sense and measure other forms of investiture? Would someone with the 1st Heightening be able to sense how much stormlight a radiant has, or how much metal a misting has? Would someone with the 6th Heightening be able to tell how much stormlight is in a gem, or how charged some sand is? 2

Does it have to do with how people perceive it which allows them to worldhop to other planets? How would you, for example, run from the North Pole of a planet to its South Pole in the cognitive realm? It's something that's never quite made sense to me, and I know that the cognitive realm looks different on different planets. 2

Dragonsteel is basically the prequel to the events of the entire Cosmere. He won't actually write it until after Stormlight 10 though, if that's what you're asking. 1

Or was the insanity something that came over the 4500 years that came later? Other than Talenel, did their insanity come while they were being tortured in the place they return to between desolations? Parshendi blood is orange. Chasmfiend ichor is purple.The Prelude mentions bodies strewn about, some of which aren't human. Three different colours of blood are mentioned: Red, Orange and Violet. Is the Red blood Human, the Orange blood Parshendi, and the Violet blood Chasmfiend? If no, then which ones are wrong?

Kinda ruins my argument a little. But it could also tie the Aimians to the Listeners, as well as the Chasmfiend.

They will be the same as they are now, the same as they were in TFE era. Kelsier could've done the same steel bubble trick that Wax does if he practiced it, so the power isn't somehow different in Era 2. The main "change" will be how many we know, and new/creative ways to use them. He could also bring her up in conversation if somebody (I'd say Kaladin, but Shallan might have better odds of getting him to open up) asks him about his past. That way he can say something vague without inner monologue spoilers for the audience, as well as not needing to devote another interlude to Zahel if Brandon doesn't want to.

Does it do anything for feruchemists, like increase their capacity to fill a metalmind or how efficaciously they discharge a metalmind? What about a compounder? I feel like that would be the supercharged combo, a spiked compounder...
Oversleep Posted September 8, 2017 Posted September 8, 2017 Why didn't Marsh relocate his eye spikes and healed back his eyes? Sight is pretty much the most important sense. His metalsight would continue to be as good as it were (we know savants can potentially reach the level of Inquisitor metalsight). He doesn't loose anything by restoring his sight and there's much to gain.
