Yeah, that's a bummer though. I'd still be on the lookout. However, if you are starting a new job it might be better if you didn't take a dog at this moment, especially if you're living alone; the dog would be alone a lot of the day depending on hours. Keep checking places around you for pugs, though. Have you tried petfinder? I'll just wait. I'm not cut out for owning a dog anyway.
Blaze1616 he/him Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 Calculating speed, velocity, EASY stuff like that and it makes me feel like a total idiot but i just CANT GET IT THIS SHOULD BE EASY mainly its all the weighted average calculations that are throwing me off. mainly speed. i cannot calculate weighted average speed to save my life and I've never struggled with math or science before. Biology, Chemistry, Calculus, it all came easily, A's and A+'s all day every day. I got a C in Physics. First time ever. Physics is oddly hard, and you are in no way the only person who has struggled. It's only Day 3, give yourself a chance to shrug off summer and get into the groove of things! Like Mestiv said, we are more than willing to help!

One day, you will find the pug that is perfect for you, and the two of you will be as happy as can be. Now I'm wondering what else I don't know enough about, despite all the research I did. And I put in an application at a local pug rescue, but now I'm sure they're going to take one look at it and go "Oh, she doesn't know what she's doing. Toss." I keep flashing back to this one Adventures in Odyssey episode I listened to as a kid, where a freshman named Jimmy wanted to be a paramedic. He researched it, and his intentions were noble (he wanted to help people) but when he sat down with an actual paramedic, he zoomed in on Jimmy's C's in math and science, and started rapid-firing questions: "What causes hypertension? How do you determine dosage for a patient who weighs this much?" and on and on while Jimmy stammered and stuttered. The paramedic ended with "These are things you have to know," and Jimmy left feeling like an idiot. I know what happened last night wasn't a huge deal, but that's kind of how I feel right now. 2

Can't... Stand it. And when I tell him to stop he gives me some crap like "you read that on the internet" or "stop believing everything you hear" or "you're young and stupid stop"

Its his inability to understand that, although I am 16, I am allowed to have my own views and that I'm allowed to be different from him. 4

I'm 25 and I don't share my political or religious views with my parents. The last time I spoke out in disagreement with something my mom said, she read me the riot act and later asked me "Were you just disagreeing with me because you know I'm right?" That was two years ago.
