Blaze1616 he/him Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 Corvallis people, Do we have a go on Echo showing up with Buttercup at the planned zombie fight? If not, what do you want him to do? I had a idea that he would head a Black Ops team that took out Epics who live in Corvallis. I could have him search for Iconoclast. I don't think a team like that would be necessary. Any Epics that do go rogue or too destructive could be taken care of by whatever government Epics are available and suited to the job. It wouldn't happen often enough to warrant a dedicated team, especially when each Epic needs a different response to counter their powers.but if Blaze and Coma are fine he could always be assigned with some guards to go looking for Icon anyway? Once Buttercup makes her report it will be clear that an Epic is doing this. I'm with Blackhoof on this one, I don't think a special forces team of Epics is necessary. The way Converter was handled, with specific Epics being called in to help, is pretty much how events with radical Epics would go. That being said, Echo is more than welcome into the Security Force, and the zombie fight that we were shortly discussing before sounds okay to me, we just need to wait for an appropriate time to do so. Plus, I want to make sure Comatose approves of Echo before we officially introduce him. Still having trouble finding a Soulcaster icon to use. This is the cover art for an album titled Break of Reality, and it's one of my favorite images ever. It's not a humorous icon, but when cropped it could be nice. Just a thought. Namely it doesn't really makes sense in context of his powers. For someone like Steelheart it makes sense, given that there isn't much way for his powers to interact with people but for Echo that connection isn't really there making it a double weakness, aka two triggers that need to be triggered at the same time, even though there should only be one. 1

That's probably be best yes but talking about him there's another thing that I found odd about Echo's weakness about thinking about it for a bit. Namely it doesn't really makes sense in context of his powers. His weakness isn't "people who love him", it is "being hurt by people who love him", thus being two conditions.
