A cover of Hades first phase theme 'Who Brings Shadow'. Despite the title saying 'epic metal' it's not metal. Like at all. Still really cool and the CG matches up really well with the music.

Also the lyrics:

"One brings shadow, one brings light

To this riddle all souls are tied

Brief our moments, brazen and bright

Forged in fury, tempered in ice"

Gives me chills

I have a playlist called "Yassss".  Always has 5-10 random songs I'm currently obsessed with and listening to on repeat. At the moment it has:

Crossing Field - Lisa

The Violence - Rise Against

It Ain't Me - Kygo & Selena Gomez

Into the Unknown - Idina Menzel & AURORA

She's Kerosene - The Interrupters

I got a Switch Lite for Christmas and Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and the first time I heard this remixed theme from the first game I about died from how awesome it was:

Xenoblade probably has my favorite soundtrack in video game history! It’s so good!

The music from both The Mandalorian and Rise of Skywalker is utterly glorious. Bravo, Mr. Williams and Mr. Göransson!

I heard this and I have to agree.

I third this. I think what really sets Xenoblade’s soundtrack apart for me is that along with the driving battle themes that hype me up, the emotional pieces really deliver as well. When I first started up the Xenoblade 1, I just sat and listened to the main theme watching as the title screen went by.

And then there are the area themes, which manage to capture the feel of each location so well (looking at you, Satorl Marsh).

...and there I go again, gushing about Xenoblade. I’ll stop myself now before this post becomes huge.

^I agree with all of this. The Main Theme gets me emotional every time I listen to it. And the Mechonis tracks—Mechonis Field, Central Factory—are just downright awesome.

But my favorite track has to be Frontier Village. I just love the feel of it.

So I've been listening to the Homestuck albums basically constantly. If you want to check it out the best songs imo are:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hn6Yl371mIc Rex Duodecim Angelus

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nU9YXh_0L4Y I'm a Member of the Midnight Crew (Post-Punk Version) (not everyone will like this one, but I love it)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L2BLUyv7UT0 Olive Rogue

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RMFVmz9yYJU Elevatorstuck, the only actual good song.

These are some of the best, but there's over 1100 songs, so there's lots more. Most of everything is on here:

https://homestuck.bandcamp.com/

And if you really really loved that, there's also a lot of fan songs, which can be downloaded for free from:

https://unofficialmspafans.bandcamp.com or https://hsfanmusic.skaia.net/lofam.html

Oh also you should read Homestuck. http://homestuck.com/. Not for everybody, but I think everybody should give it a try!

The Atlas: Enneagram album by Sleeping At Last, paired with his podcast where he explains his decisions behind each song.

Two and Five are probably my favorite on the album, though I’m an Enneagram Four.

A couple albums by fabulous pianist Daniil Trifonov - here are some examples you can listen to online for free. The joy on his face says it all!

He's only in his 20s but some experts say he's the best they ever heard. And folks here in Cleveland who know him (he studied here) say he's a genuinely nice person - not arrogant at all. What a pleasure to support artists who, like Brandon, care about both their craft and their fans.:)

Still one of the best boss battle themes ever. Not just because it sounds amazing, but because if you knew the context it sounds even better. The context being:

Spoiler

Killing the Shadowlord is the catalyst that ends the human race. But you have no choice. You doom humanity and there is literally nothing you can do about it.

I've slowly overcome the most recent phase of excessively listening to The Cure and finally feel animated to delve into other things again. Now listening to The Future Sound of London, and the Metroid Prime vibes are strong with the Lifeforms album.

Nice! Didn't expect that name to be mentioned on here. He's awesome.

Manu Delago - Uplifted

From the album Made in Silence 2, which I highly recommend to anyone who is as ridiculously in love with melodic percussion as I am. To anyone, really, because you might find a love for it. :)

Lost Painting from one of the Castlevania games. I’ve got a friend who showed it to me on the piano, and it sounds really good, and I think I’ve found the original version on Spotify by the Castlevania Sound Team

Bruno Sanfilippo - Pianette

And I like going through this and looking at what everyone's listening to. When Chrome isn't trying to lag out until time has no more momentum, anyway. There's so much music in the world. We are ridiculously rich in music.
