Ookla the Absent Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Not listening to anything right now, 'cause the music is in my head. Right now, it's one of my brother's piano pieces, called Wizard Fantasy (I think). One of these days I'm gonna have to change my mental playlist.
Hood he/him Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 CCR --> Have You Ever Seen The Rain ? This band is nice. Wonder, why I didn't look it up before.
Curiosity he/him Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 You want to cry sometime? Laugh? For the Dancing and the Dreaming -How To Train Your Dragon 2
Zathoth Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 The Exploding Eyes Orchestra - Two Zero 13 It is so weird and dark and dissonant and catchy and it just perfect. And the music video is great too.
Hood he/him Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 The Beatles --> I Want to Tell You. Ah!! I wonder, what it was like when the Beatles were mainstream music. They are so awesome.
ParadoxicalZen he/him Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 I have the K-Pop group Sistar's song Shake It stuck in my head on repeat for the last few days now. It is so storming catchy that I even found myself dancing to it whilst washing my hair o.O
Robinski he/him Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 Porcupine Tree - The Sky Moves Sideways Really, if you haven't heard them, treat yourself. Steve Wilson is prog rock god. 'Fear of a Blank Planet' is a superb piece of work - reinventing the concept album for the 21st century. 1
+Slowswift Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 Oh hey A place where I have an excuse to incessantly post music Well then In that case I've been listening to "Leave Out All the Rest" by Linkin Park for like the past two hours. 2
Robinski he/him Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 Good album, but Hybrid Theory is still their best, imho. 1
Left he/him Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 Been addicted to Hozier's debut album since I first listened to it a couple weeks ago. Took me a long time to listen to it because I didn't like Take Me to Church, but once I listened to more of the songs I fell in love.
Shrike76 he/him Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 Someone recently turned me on to a Turkish goth band called She Past Away, so that's been my earworm for the last couple of weeks.
Orlion Blight he/him Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 Another Eddie?! This will certainly lead to confusion further down the line! Que es la Vida by Martillo Vago I'll have to check that out... but right now, I'm listening to I'd Rather Be High by David Bowie.
Shrike76 he/him Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 Another Eddie?! This will certainly lead to confusion further down the line! Whoa! I've only used this avatar one other place and it was the only one I saw there for years, I figured it was an old enough picture that I'd likely never see another one. I'm partial to it, but it should be easy enough for me to find a replacement.

And in celebration, I'm listening to some Gordon Lightfoot! Edited August 15, 2015 by Orlion

Honestly, it's almost as if bands don't consider grammar when they are taking a name... of course She Passed Away isn't so aesthetically pleasing. Edited August 15, 2015 by Robinski

picksupchickens he/him Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 The Messenger 2012 By Infected Mushroom. Highly recommended.

I capitalized that properly. No one ever taught Toby Driver proper english, obviously... oh and they are amazing Progressive Metal if anyones into that. Anyway I am listening to Ghost BCs latest album. Earworms? Check. Satanism? Check. It is Ghost.
Skitter she/her Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 I've been listening to Hozier's debut album for nearly 8 months now. Even after I enjoy other songs, I just go right back to it. It's incredible. 1
