6000j he/him Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 I didn't know you can have Aspergers and ADHD. I thought they were opposites. Too much focus versus not enough. (Yes, I, like 50% of everyone else on here have Aspergers) you can. you focus alot on things you like and get easily distracted on things you don't. 1
BreathBecomeYours Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 Probably Wit for me, simply because I'll often act the daft smart arse. Which as Kaladin and he discussed, isn't always particularly 'witty' 2
WayneSpren he/him Posted July 31, 2015 Author Posted July 31, 2015 Kind of off-topic though.... me and Annabeth from Percy Jackson are basically the same person. Physically and personality-wise. Except that she's smarter and more clever. Actually I do have a yankees cap just like hers. however, it stopped working and can no longer turn me invisible. :/ ....or can it? I once had a magic stick that had the ability to not be set on fire. It's the same level of awesomeness.
Seana she/her Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 (edited) Raoden in female form. Suriously! Here's a list of similarities: Endlessly optomistic even when I feel terrible? Yep, me. Doesn't really know how, but wants to make my portion of the world a better place? Yes again. Tries to destract myself from pain (usually with hard work or books)? Check. Is super secretive about liking someone (but can't help thinking about them all the time)? Me. Likes a good prank and can act really lighthearted? Ehehe, oh yes. Annoys pessimists? Ha! Of course! (My little brother is Galladon) Makes up "super important jobs" to distract upset people? Perhaps I should get paid for that... Rust, I can't think of anything else off the top of my head. That'll have to do. Edited July 31, 2015 by Seana 4
picksupchickens he/him Posted August 20, 2015 Posted August 20, 2015 Thread-necro... is that ok? If it is, here's my answer: Jasnah. She's like my female atheist doppleganger. Other than those differences, I'm exactly the same. (She may be a little more moody.) In every situation during the books, I can imagine I'm in her place, and I realize I would say the same thing. (Disregarding some of the aforementioned differences.)
Mailliw73 he/him Posted August 20, 2015 Posted August 20, 2015 I'm quite a bit like Elend with some Kaladin and some Dalinar thrown in. A bit of Renarin and a small part of Spook.
WayneSpren he/him Posted August 21, 2015 Author Posted August 21, 2015 (edited) I'm sorry. I lied. I'm not really like Wayne - I just like him as a character. In reality, I'm more like...uh...Alcatraz. Yep. I'd say I'm 50% Kaladin, 20% Elend, 10% Vin, 5% Lopen, and 15% unknown substances. And by 'unknown" you mean Stick... Young Bard he/him Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 Those people who said Renarin, run now before Feather catches you. She'll either stalk you for the rest of your days or give you a lecture on how no-one could possibly match Renarin's sheer awesomeness. Anyway, I'm a hybrid of Elend of Jasnah. More comfortable with a book than with one of those squishy pink things that call themselves 'humans'. Questioning and prone to ask philosophical questions which has long since driven several of my colleagues mad. A logical thinker, that doesn't like to deal with those gooey emotions.
Darkness Ascendant he/him Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 I am like Tien, from Stormlight Archive, optimistic and generally oblivious to vat is going on. 1
navybrandt he/him Posted September 15, 2015 Posted September 15, 2015 Rashek, because if I had god-like powers I'd try to fix things and probably screw it up. 1
natc Posted September 15, 2015 Posted September 15, 2015 Rashek, because if I had god-like powers I'd try to fix things and probably screw it up. But that happens to almost everybody I'd think the similarity lies more in the fact that you didn't deny the fact that you screwed up.
Zathoth Posted September 15, 2015 Posted September 15, 2015 I want to say Kelsier, but that would be a lie. Jasnah is closer, but Im not as insanely competent and more interested in art than science. Spook, Kaladin or Elend are close, Shallan for artyness (even if I do music and I am nowhere near as insanely talented as she is) and the silly sense of humor. Or Hoid, I seem to have an ability to insult people without trying... I'd say Elend.
Infynis Posted September 24, 2015 Posted September 24, 2015 I'd like to say Wit, but I'm probably closer to Rysn, the Thaylen merchant apprentice from the interludes. Her reactions to everything are just so perfect: "Rysn liked to pretend that her pot of Shin grass was not stupid, but merely contemplative." 1
Mashadar Mistborn he/him Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 Elend. I'm awkward, known to bring a book to everything( dances, pep rallies, you name it), and an idealist. 1
wingedScribe Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 I'm torn between Marasi and Renarin--I'm a good bit like both.
