The Cosmere's most horrifying, most atrocious, and strangest possibilities. My two submissions, Zane Venture  with Nightblood, And Ruin and Odium fusing to become a super-shard called Destruction

Replacing my Atium with Metallic Helium. (Yes, such a thing does exist) Squeaky voice whenever I burn my metals is not cool, okay?

Two parshendi having a Horneater drunken song duel during a highstorm. In Iri. Either the scariest thing ever, or more awesome than Lift

When you dream that you are Shallan and are stuck with a grumpy Kaladin in a highstorm... yeesh.

Except for the fact that you're Shallan, and stuck in a highstorm with Kaladin.

And then someone gets them all started on a philosophy debate while Lightsong and Shallan constantly crack jokes.

That conversation would be the awesomest thing ever.

I think making a Lifeless out of a former Knight Radiant would be scary. Now there is a mindless Shardbearer who follows commands perfectly, never tires, and does not require food. Even if he can no longer use Stormlight, he would still be hard to face.

Brandon Sanderson finds his true calling as a writer of romance novels and abandons writing Cosmere novels forever.

"You guys won't actually miss out on anything," he'll say in a press release, "the culmination was pretty much the ending of the Dark Tower but with more Stephen King as a character."

It would only work if the Knight Radiant had broken his oaths. Plus, maybe lifeless can't bond Shardblades, since the bond happens at the level of the soul/spiritweb, and maybe a breath does not count as enough of a soul to work.

This would probably actually be a good question to ask Brandon.  Even just a normal Shardbearer with a dead Shardblade being a Lifeless would be a scary concept.

This conversation is giving me chills, and not the good kind, either.

And if Brandon really does leave the Cosmere to rot, I will tell my friend to tell her dad (who is Brandon's dentist) to get his mind back to where it really was. ;)
