I can understand why they are doing it though. Harry Potter is huge, and I think they are Pottermore usable by kids under 13, which has a whole lot of legal ramifications (most forums I know of just state in their rules that you have to be 13 or older to join in order to avoid the hassle).

Yeah, there's all sorts of legal things with kids under 13 for online stuff. As you mentioned, in the terms of service in most forums and things like that, they include a disclaimer stating you have to be over 13, which is because of some legal requirement. If you're going to cater to people under this age, there's like a ton of rules and stuff you have to follow. I don't know what they are, but this may very well be one of them.

I'd also like to announce that I've named my French Horn and Mellophone this year. French Horn (concert horn) is named Soother, and Mellophone (marching band horn) is named Rioter. Though if I decide to use the nicknames "Zinc" and "Brass" it will mean that I have a brass instrument named Brass. Hmm...

The power went out in our shopping district, first giving us a spontaneous break, which led to our manager saying that we actually did need to be working, so we all started folding boxes, which in the hilarity of things, led to boxes being thrown at each other. I then got off work a half hour early.
