DreamEternal Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 (edited) Kelsier? The "consuming" of souls could just be he creating the seeds of his church to feed his megalomania. Edited June 8, 2015 by CognitivePulsePattern
Sirce Luckwielder he/him Posted June 8, 2015 Author Posted June 8, 2015 (edited) Lightsong is correct. He Returned with Breath. He holds the Lifeless codes-death, and the ability to save one person by giving up his Breath-life. He needs a Breath a week to survive. He sees destruction in his dreams. He tries to defy the customs and rules of society but he is the favorite god. He lives in wealthy splendor while the people of T'Telir give up everything for him. When he dies it leads to Hallandren surviving the Pan Kahl revolution. Which doubles as peace but comes at a costly fight. Edited June 8, 2015 by Sirce Luckwielder
Kasimir he/him Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 It's been a while since someone took this up. Can we revive the Boasts and pass to someone else, if LabRat isn't going to add one?
Sirce Luckwielder he/him Posted June 15, 2015 Author Posted June 15, 2015 I sent him a PM yesterday afternoon. If he doesn't post something by the end of today anybody can take it.
Sirce Luckwielder he/him Posted June 17, 2015 Author Posted June 17, 2015 I'm just going to do a new one. I speak in riddles, only coherant upon close inspection. I have run the gauntlet of the candle-fuel. I see the thousand eyes as clear as day. I have a friend in the man upstairs, He grants me the unknown power, Making me the last of my kind. 1
Sirce Luckwielder he/him Posted June 17, 2015 Author Posted June 17, 2015 Yep, it was Spook. I mostly wanted to just get this rolling again. Your boast Topomouse.
Topomouse he/him Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 Your boast was still very good, good job. Now for mine: Those who look at me see only my soft surface, and don't suspect the metal within. With my power I make people mine, my would be killers become my servants. In an afternoon, through the power of stitches and fabric I became kin with the heir and hero. Before the end I seduced the wind, for only I know the good in its heart. 3
Kasimir he/him Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 Thanks I am the road untaken, the path unchosen:bone-slayer, heart-judge, the shine of moonlighton still waters. The heart’s space is my battlefield;in my hands gleam the word-hoard, my weapons.I give wise counsel, withhold my own purposes.Name me: secret-keeper, deceiver, truth-giver.I know the hidden heart of things, the distant daysunspoken, long fled with the summers. In stone,I mark the passage of the years, reweave them.In my hands, I held the beating heart of an empireand remade the lord of kings anew. 3
Sirce Luckwielder he/him Posted June 18, 2015 Author Posted June 18, 2015 Vasher? The "road untaken" could be his not showing thst he is a Returned. The "word-hoard, my weapons" could be Awakening, which requires specific words in its Commands. The "in stone" could be talking of the Phantoms. The "distant days unspoken, long fled with the summers" could be talking about how long he has lived. The "beating heart lf an empire" could be talking of the T'Telir kingdom that he gave up the the other God Kings, who could be the "lord(s) of kings."
Kasimir he/him Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 I like this interpretation, but that wasn't who I had in mind, sorry
Kasimir he/him Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 Shai? Ding ding ding! Give this gentlebeing a round of applause! Your turn! 1
Xaladin he/him Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 Two colors adorn my name I am an artist of the most surprising kind But few appreciate my masterpieces The best of which I can only present once Though I was hunted, I could not lose without providing an enjoyable punchline You're welcome for inspiring he who takes matters into his own hands Because he must stop what is coming 1
Sirce Luckwielder he/him Posted June 19, 2015 Author Posted June 19, 2015 Bloody Tan. One of the best scenes in Alloy of Law. 1
Xaladin he/him Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 Bloody Tan. One of the best scenes in Alloy of Law. This is correct.
Sirce Luckwielder he/him Posted June 19, 2015 Author Posted June 19, 2015 (edited) I loved the boast. Even though he is crazy, I liked Bloody Tan. A father without children, A husband without wife. I command the hearts of men. Imbued with the power of a god. I sow striff seeds. Serving under pretenses of endurance. An immortal, though dead. My heart lay unknown until the end-sleep.
