The 17th Shard is blocked on all computers Moral Guardian has access to, solely because of Nighthound. After Quota, Timeport, and Electro began their rampage, he began blocking all sites that referenced Brandon Sanderson, just to be sure. Right. We keep the quotes out of the main RP so it flows more like an actual story. If you want to make sure people know which post you're replying to, put some of the other character's dialogue in your post and have your character respond to it directly. Or just mention the character you're talking to and what they're doing and people will follow it all right. Naturally, Quota blocked me from upvoting that post. He uses his powers to send positive emotions toward people who look like they need a smile. (She made that suggestion right after I told her about Quota. She was overjoyed and relieved to learn that he would die horribly. She also said she felt as if justice would be served, because in her words, "he's a jerk.") I've got to replace the clutch on my car, unemployment blows like a Highstorm, and college is expensive(where's a glass of spheres when you need one?). And to make matters worse, even though I live in California, I won't be able to attend either of Brandon's signings. Curses. Anyway, sorry about the infrequency of my posts. I do my best to keep up with the question thread, but you guys don't make it easy, which is awesome because that means I always have something to read. I showed a friend WHiP and he was astonished at the length of the posts and the quality of the writing. So hurrah for you guys! And just to reassure y'all, I am still planning on having Fade end Nighthound. If I can make it work, and get your approval Edge, it may even be a glorious Curb-stomp. Because when Fade commits to something, he commits. But I'll need the MEE attacks to finish first. They'll give Kobold, when do we finally get to see Vondra? I've been eagerly awaiting his debut. And does anyone else picture him with a cigar? Or have I just seen too many action movies? And for the record, I got the Julian Smith reference and I'm not Mormon, so there goes that theory. I did introduce his videos to a Mormon friend of mine though. 2

Parity could fill that role with some additional corruption. Her ability to drain colors would also make her a prime secret weapon against Funtimes, as well. I've been spending my day curled up with my e-reader and a copy of Firefight. Allow me to give a brief and utterly non-spoilery remark on the quality of the novel: 3

I've been spending my day curled up with my e-reader and a copy of Firefight. Allow me to give a brief and utterly non-spoilery remark on the quality of the novel: If by "secret weapon" you mean "presser of one of her berserker buttons," then yes, she would be. So jealous! WHY MUST MY BIRTHDAY BE ON SATURDAY??? I have a plan, though. The nearest bookstore is about 10 minutes from where I work. So if I just leave for work a bit early from now until Saturday, I'll be able to squeeze in a few chapters each day, and hopefully finish off the rest of the book during work on Saturday. (Saturdays are usually pretty slow, considering only the sales department is there; my boss actually encourages me to take my laptop and work on homework. So it's all good.) That way I won't have to slow up the RP's progress too terribly much, and I can join the rest of you in gushing a bit earlier. Now I just have to come up with a decent excuse….for every day of the week. Today's excuse: I need to stop by the mall and pick up more eyeshadow, and I want to get there early because I'm afraid post-Christmas returns will clog up all the stores. Or maybe I just want to stop by Hot Topic and gaze at the new Who stuff they've gotten in. Argh. My excuses are like David's metaphors. 2

But I'm still bracing myself for it. I almost downvoted that comment just for torturing me. Halfway through, though. That's a good sign. If Firefight had contradicted everything within the first few chapters, I'd be worried. Maybe, when you finish, you should just post the number of things that contradict the RP and their severity, and maybe the page number. The rest of us can be prepared to discuss those things and figure out how badly they contradict what we've written. (I'd like it, anyway. ) 1

Or maybe zombies don't count for that? (And we know that he was wrong in that Megan was in fact alive again, so he could have been wrong on other things too...)

It could be but it´s pretty likely that the Reckoners would know about Lightwards and we are in the past, so that´s the larger canon problem.

Only thing so far I found is a clear statement that weakness = all powers are gone but I can think of at least one where it takes only parts away. (Planeshift) Apart from that only more enforcement for things we already knew.
