I actually hadn’t considered this. However, just in case,

How does OoA come into this?

We would exe you in this pseudo-cycle. The PseudoGM would change your role in the meta-cycle (to a role you will not flip in, if we exe you in the meta-cycle)

Guys I’ve only skimmed but I don’t like the train on Myst at all, and as I said earlier, I do have private reason to trust him - although I am beginning to doubt it

Could you explain why you don't like the train? I have explained in very clear terms why Myst is the best possible exe today. What are your rebuttals against it?

I didn’t know that at the time? The rules as written said the action happened during the pseudo game cycle. I was asking when during the psuedo game cycle when Wahr and TUM clarified

Oh, and I will add onto the point that it if Myst is Coinshot, it would be a clear evidence of a mole in the pseudo-elim doc who fed Myst the info to kill Xino. It could not have been a lucky shot.

I’m already working under the assumption of such a mole

Yeah

Why?

I still don’t wanna kill Myst though

I can at least attest to the fact that, on PC1, Myst claimed to have a better use for their action than the one I was proposing

I can also attest to this. Unfortunately it doesn’t prove that that “better use” wasnt killing Xino. We can’t prove that Myst is a lurcher or coinshot without exeing him

Me personally I think he’s probably lying so

Verdance Myst

(I still want to come back to Ver later, I do think exeing the meta elims in pseudogame is a good idea. But I agree with the whole “mysts role could get changed to frame the claimer” thing so this has to be now. We can exe Ver in the next cycle.)

Mippo is their normal name, but they changed it to ___ for April fools and haven’t been able to change it back

Indeed

I actually changed it in the middle of a game and coincidentally got NKed that cycle 😂

OK, Big reversal out of left field coming here from me.

Myst Fallen

Allow me to explain.

This is a bit of a stretch, but I've convinced myself from my pc1 shardworld doc (which I did not contribute to, sorry) that even though we know Fallen is an MV, the other person in that doc was completely exed on the first two turns (Coder, RIP) But if a PE Fallen were in that doc, and discussing that it was just them and Coder in a PE doc, then a hypothetical ME player in that doc would believe there were only two people in that doc. Now they think no one is on threnody, and therefore a planet they don't need to really worry about for now. I don't know the logic behind that, except threnodians can potentially also survive a kill, and kill the attacker, which is a powerful anti-elim tool, especially late game. But people can still move to threnody.

Anyways that last sentence or 2 were me getting sidetracked, Along with that, there would be no living people who can know that it was Coder and Fallen along on threnody C1. Little did they know my secret weapon (Forgetfulness would thwart their plan) A PE/ME player would only want to eliminate a MV in the Meta game, but not in the Pseudo game, especially if the pseudo players did any sort of role claim for the meta game in their doc. (Which I don't necessarily think is likely, but possible) Any other Pseudo-Elims want to confirm if they revealed meta roles in the PElim doc? 😉😅

Anyways if my wildly convoluted theory is right, that means the M-Elims want the P-Elims to win the P-Game, and that is why they've kept a P-Elim alive but not in the M-game.

Of course this theory has wayyyy too many assumptions and results in sending yet another player through two kills in a row. But I want to hear everyone elses thoughts?

Edit: @Miss Fallen I figure I should fairly call you to increase your chance to respond.

Huh. That is quite the theory. Ig I could see that. It would depend on them wanting a pseudo elim victory though, which has not been the general consensus by my understanding.

We’ve been working under the assumption that there’s a mole this whole time.

Wow I feel hurt. I was killed in both games???

Well now I feel validated for being inactive. Although I really wasn't doing anything, so I guess that was a valid move.

Still, bitter.

Yeah probably one of the worst cases of bad fortune or unforgiving targeting I've seen in all my years of SE.

But now that you're cleared, do you have any insights about who the bad guys are?

Yeah, actually when I died, an elim PMed me the names of all the elims because they thought I was too inactive to notice.

No, I have genuinely been to inactive to play... or read...

😅

Dusk fell outside the cave.

Evinir ate his last bite of the sandwich, and stepped up. In the last hours, he had examined every corner of the ancient Spiked altar, one of the few of its kind throughout the Cosmere. He walked over to the slab of stone that marked its core. Running a finger over it, he felt the scratches and scars etched into its surface, and if he closed his eyes, he could hear the screams of those whose pain had been reaped here.

The squab chirped from its makeshift nest, and Evinir returned to the present. He had work to do. By the light of the torches, he pulled a spanreed out of his satchel, placed it to a side. His back ached as he reached down. Evinir grimaced, then reached for his shirt and slowly lifted it. As the cold air hit his bare skin, he gasped, and tossed the shirt into a corner. It fell still in a pile. He had been sweating. Evinir closed his eyes, took a deep breath, clenched his fists. Then he pulled something else out of his satchel. His breath quickened. He placed his empty hand on the slab.

Then he positioned the spike, and slammed the hammer down. The clang rung out in the echo chamber of the cavern. Somewhere, the squab cried out. Evinir did not scream.

The pain was a friend now.

As the blood ran down his trembling arm, as the taste of blood filled his mouth, he repeated a single phrase in his mind, a mantra. It was all he had left.

Endure.

I think they’re all either freaking out in their heads, haven’t noticed it yet, or haven’t been online to see it.
