Does Taln have his Honorblade back and if so when did he get it back and do we know anything about its journey specifically?

Kind of getting into the Stone Shamans and a new curiosity has been piqued.

Thanks a ton my 17thshard homies!

As @redundant said, this is covered in the RPG and campaigns. That said, the nickel Cliffs Notes:

Spoiler
  • Taln appears with his Honorblade (WoK Epilogue)
  • The Stoneward Honorblade is stolen enroute from Kholinar to the Shattered Plains, replaced with a dead Shardblade (WoR I-7)
    • Ylt and the Eyes of Pala steal the Honorblade and return to Shinovar (Stonewalkers RPG Supplement)
  • Dalinar realizes the Madman was Taln, but did not have his Honorblade (OB Ch 38)
  • Szeth and Kaladin find the Honorblade in Shinovar, being borne by Rit-daughter-Clutio (WaT Ch 41 and 42)
  • Taln reclaims his Honorblade when the Oathpact is reformed (WaT Ch 144)

Hope that helps

Isn't it not the Honorblade, and so they're confused?

Adding to Treamayne's cliff notes to expand on the RPG stuff. But PLEASE don't look if you plan on playing Stonewalkers. There are a couple big spoilers in it.

    • The main characters (AKA your party) in the Stonewalker RPG recover the blade from Ylt and return it to the stone shamans per the dying wish of a shaman (Taszo-son-Clutio) who they befriend over the course of the campaign. Specifically, they return it to Taszo's older sister.
      • OR if the party tries to be greedy, Nale/Liss/more Shamans show up and confiscate it. So, either way, it is returned to Shinovar.
  • Dalinar realizes the Madman was Taln, but did not have his Honorblade (OB Ch 38)
  • Szeth and Kaladin find the Honorblade in Shinovar, being borne by Rit-daughter-Clutio (WaT Ch 41 and 42) <- Taszo's older sister
  • Taln reclaims his Honorblade when the Oathpact is reformed (WaT Ch 144)

Hope that helps

Also, you will get to actively witness the blade being stolen enroute to the Shattered Plains in the RPG
