Armiel wasn't entirely sure how to react to someone accusing him of mutiny before their voyage had even begun, but he figured a joke couldn't hurt as much as his next meal would. He flashed a quick grin. "Besides, I have it on good authority that my meals are 90% less burnt than what Fort makes."

Armiel thought a moment before speaking again.

"And if you leave some Sunlight Spores for me to practice with, who knows? Maybe folks will be able to look forward to meals!"

Illi was fond of organization. The same way you might be fond of a relative who you see once a year, that knows a funny joke, but that joke is the only joke they know. Suffice it to say, his room was a bit of a mess. There were bins stacked on boxes, pots placed haphazardly on stacks of paper, but, despite it all, there was precisely zero mixing of the spores. One could look around and tell exactly where the Zephyr, Amberite, or Verdant spores were. You could also tell where the box of nameless bone spores were, but that was more because of their uniquely extreme containment than any organizational schema. 

He carefully sealed the lid of the box of bone spores. They were very valuable, and he could not risk losing a single one without experimenting on it. They were an interesting prospect, the peculiar bone spores from across the world, but, like the oily blue aethors he had experimented with previously, they didn't seem to be of any aid in his mission. He was beginning to fear he would need to bargain with the dragon in the Crimson Sea. It would be dangerous, but with nearly all of the aethors useless to him, it seemed his only path forward. 

A knock on his door jolted Illi out of his thoughts. He nearly dropped the box of bone spores, but narrowly regained control of its ungainly shape before it could plummet to the ground. He placed it in a small nook beneath his desk. It was the safest place in the room, unlikely to be disturbed. 

Illi rose. He stepped over and pulled open the door. He frowned. He adjusted his glasses.

Yeah, advancement should be fairly difficult. Depending on a few things, I might be willing to give away some Master Pots in return for certain favors...

If you'd asked Roberto's friends about Roberto, the typical response you would get would most likely be "Who on earth is Roberto?", because you'd probably have to ask Roberto first who his friends were. Ask Roberto's adversaries however, and you're not even talking to anyone since Roberto is such a lovely fella. 

You see, Roberto is the kinda guy to read the rules to a game during their third turn after telling everyone that they'll get the rules after a few turns and then get even more confused when people just do as they do. All this serves as important context as to the primary question running through their head as they are informed of their status as a newly-formed Apprentice.

All Roberto has done for the last few days is do the ship work that had been expected of him and now he was being instructed as to the sprouting or something? Should've known something like this would happen after he seemed to get all that rudimentary chores done so easily that something would drop on his metaphorical head.

Hey gang I'm gonna be bad at RPing but there's some of it I'll try to keep up with it and I guess I should do first-person RP afterwards but that's gonna be a job for good ol' Roberto and not Stinko let's all have a fun voyage I'm thinking of it more as a cruise really myself

I've been reading WoBs and have learned things!

Flesh spores have been transmuted into bone spores because I misremembered the WoB.

Like, for instance, if whoever got the Roseite spore today were to pass it to me, I would be more inclined to protect them with the resulting pot.

Do we have anything to discuss so far? Right now it seems like everyone's scrambling for Roseite, which makes sense as it's a protect (not necessarily a protect against kill though if you're a novice and there are multiple actions against you in a night). I asked Aman how who gets what is determined, but didn't get an answer yet. 

No exe today means no real pressure, which is nice for getting to know each other? No one's acting particularly suspicious other than Worldhopper . Maybe Hoid Slayer for poke voting Araris but it's a poke vote  

Can't wait to actually get some PMs up... I'll probably be able to set one up tonight but I'll only be able to reach one person, so feel free to Zephyr me, I love chatting

For now, I haven’t read like anything cause I’m just getting back from school and trying to squeeze in a post, but I think the more non RP interaction we have taking place, the better

RP is fun, but later when we’re going back over this it won’t really give us anything when we could be using this time to begin to develop reads

Shifter smashed his pillow against the wall one last time, breathing heavy. How had he made that mistake? He needed to lie low… but the stress still chased him. He took a couple deep breaths. It was fine. Everything was fine.

Shifter emerged back onto the deck, pulling his hood back over his head and exchanging quick furtive glances with a group of sailors playing cards on the side. A single glare - and flash of the ebony blade nestled in the folds of his cloak - was enough to make them look away. It was time to see who he was trapped in this cage with.
