Congrats y’all! That was a really close game. There were several instances where I was sure we were screwed way earlier and several where I was sure we were destined to win. I’m really proud of my team here, even if we didn’t win. The fact we managed to get it down to just three villagers left without a night kill is impressive in its own right. Thanks to Jo for GMing my first game back! It was a lot of fun.

@Lord Spirit I think we seem destined to be on opposite sides a lot, but watching your Elim game develop has been impressive and I think we'll both feel excited when the day comes when E!you just dogwalks V!me.

Thanks @A Jo in the Bush for making this hellish game. It inspired a high vote manip game idea that I'm looking forward to.

@ThatOneWorldhopper I am so glad you weren't elim because if you were, we would have lost and it would have been my fault.

My initial calc to both vote Spirit. I never redid it but I think with the Striker vote splitting our votes might have been better. 

Reading the elim doc, and only just now realized Striker was making accurate and detailed vcs for the elim doc and just happened to post them for us too.

Fair warning, it's going to be a very different sort of game.

@A Jo in the Bush, I definitely think this game would have done better as an MR. 24 hour cycles were killing me.

One thing I am doing in this game, and honestly might even do in later, more Complicated games, is compiling the Eliminator PM’s. I’m only sending out one Eliminator PM, with all the Elims in it. That way, there’s only one place to check for Elim actions, and they can all be assured that someone has sent in the action for the cycle. I’ll also have to PM them separately if they die, but that’s easier to do than making a whole bunch of PM’s all at once on day 1.

Very cool idea. Not sure how great it would work with roles, but definitely good for low action games.

I think it would be fun to borrow the battle of wits as a duel mechanic. One player chooses the poison, the other player can investigate in all sorts of ways, but in the end it never strays far from a 50/50

It’s alright. Most of the time I tell myself I’ll RP more during the next game and never do lmao. I get too focused on trying to solve the game or trying to not get exed.

You’re welcome for that by the way. I was hoping that would give me subconscious village points because why would an elim put all that effort in and help the village?

I keep getting elim. I’ve only gotten normal town once, so I’m not very good at acting like it. 

There was actually a mistake that resulted in me not getting a PM at the start of the game, so I messaged Jo and said “I’m assuming I’m village, right?” Nope. I’m a bit torn because I do like being an elim, but it’s less stressful when I’m village and don’t have to worry about dying.

Nice to know I’ve progressed from “suspicious, vote him out” to “PoE, he hasn’t done enough to help”. 

I kept wanting to give advice that would help the town, then stopping myself because it would mess up the elims plans.
