Jidah lashed out with her arm. A blade of light flashed in a circle around them and the vultures fell to the ground, having been cut in half.

The sentinels, attempting to drag Réva away, shrieked as the light cut through their void-flesh. They immediately released Réva, whose flesh still burned from the sentinels' grip, and retreated as their wounds began to heal. As they moved back, another wave of sentinels arrived, raising the total to roughly twenty, and growing.

Calix’s hand whipped out of his pockets, a good handful of silver bullets flashing towards the sentinels, each finding their mark. Falling into a crouch, his Stimulation blazed to life––his tattoos following close behind––as time seemed to slow him, his speed increasing with each step.

The bullets returned, only for him to shoot them back with another flick of the wrist, the sliver blurs flashing back towards the sentinels. Calix zipped over to a good sized rock, then changed its gravity for him to float in the air.

Are the bullets special in any way? Cause otherwise...

The waves of bullets tore through the sentinel ranks, momentarily delaying them. The sentinels void-flesh, however, seemed to bend and shape around the bullets, and put itself back together after the projectiles had passed.

The sentinels attacked with renewed vigor, their ranks increasing with each second. There were so many. So much opposition...

Viruses by it's side, 209845 waded through the Cloud armies. Step by step. Inch by inch. And yet, progress was slow. So slow. 209845 grabbed a sentinel and heaved it into the waiting jaws of a passing virus, watching as it got torn apart. And yet, only instants later, it was pulled to the floor by two more. The tentacles burned it, and it gasped. It collapsed to its knees, and strained. It was futile. Why had it ever though this could work? It was stupid. So stupid. Visions flashed through its head. Giving up. Returning to the Cloud. It would be easy. So easy...

And yet, suddenly, for a reason it couldn't explain, it turned its head. It looked back, across the tunnel, to see Jidah talking. Lati was invisible, and yet 209845 knew she was there. Jidah summoned a being of light, and hugged it. The being faded. And something small, something wet, began to drip down 209845's face. A tear. Emotion. 209845 felt emotion. It hurt. It hurt so much. It was beautiful.

209845 suddenly summoned a burst of strength, and lifted itself up off the floor. Its arms outstretched, sentinels still attached, if began to spin, crashing the sentinels into the flood of viruses. 209845 shook off the tentacles that slowly lost their grip, and turned back to its target. The Ambassador was right there. It was so close... and this time, 209845 was not giving up. Fire in its heart renewed, it stepped forward, and returned to the fight.

The Ambassador extended its tendrils, and it Saw. It was gifted with a unique ability no other Cloud member had; the ability to drill into the minds of others, and the cognitive capacities to control them. The Ambassador felt pleasure as it identified its first target; a triple of beings standing together near the mouth of the virus chamber. Individual minds, they united to create a single force. Chaos. Delicious.

With a driving hunger, the Ambassador drove its tendrils straight into the minds of the tri-being. Inside, it was met with vastness. Perfect. It injected a sliver of compliance, just barely enough to get the job done but go unnoticed, and began to probe the depths of these minds.

"GREETINGS," it projected. "OH MIGHTY ONE. ON BEHALF OF THE CLOUD, I EXTEND MY SINCEREST APOLOGIES FOR THIS SITUATION."

@SpiritOfWrath

The Ambassador extended its essence to a different part of the tunnel, seeking a new target. One infinitely more powerful, but with a broken soul. An ideal meal.

The Primal stood, observant, at the mouth of the virus chamber. It failed to see the dark tendrils approaching it until it was too late. With a pleasurable moan, the Ambassador forced its essence into the beings mind, and spoke directly to the great Oxymoron.

Jidah murdered these sentinels with three different blades, each at different altitudes. She yawned.

It was easy, with this much power.

Wrath had noticed it’s interference and had allowed it to believe he hadn’t.

You cannot con the conner, after all.

He piggybacked the mental connections to this new connection, and noted quietly (As in… quite loudly).

”Well, I don’t. Does anyone want a brain cookie?”

He began to poke around.

For every sentinel that fell, two more took its place. And yet, the sentinels soon realized Jidah's power. So they took another target. One they saw she was weak against.

The sentinels focused their attention on the voice of Lati, reaching out to grapple her invisible form.

The Ambassador purred. So this would be harder than expected. It feigned a hint of relaxation, then suddenly flooded Oxy's mind with compliance, blinding his connection with the mortals.

THESE MORTALS ARE INSURGENTS. FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY, THE CLOUD REQUESTS YOUR COMPLIANCE. Of course, compliance wasn't needed. The Cloud would take Oxy in, one way or another.

Im pretty sure oxy can read minds

"Yes, well I dont love being 'took in'. I would rather-" Oxy cut off pushing a ray of pure unfiltered power towards the ambassador "-Not. You should currently be in the... very beginning of this planet. Unluckily for you, you haven't been born yet. No one in the cloud will recognize you." Oxy smiled as he cut off the connection. Good thing that was dealt with. Oxy sent out a wave of sight to check on his new friends. Friends. He hadn't had many of those in a while. The last time... No. That would NOT happen again. He needed to make sure his new friend were alright.

The blast sent the ambassador back in time to the begining of the planet. When it was first formed. there is no oxygen there. He will prob die soon.

Spooked, the Ambassador flooded Wrath with an absurd amount of energy, rewriting its Web signature to comply with the Cloud.

The Ambassador was suddenly struck with a wave of power. It barely had an instant to react before its surroundings changed, and it found itself-

NO. NO, NO, NO!!!!!!! The Ambassador let out a final shriek as its connection to the Cloud was severed entirely, and its mind slowly disintegrated into oblivion.

...

209845 pushed. It pushed its way towards its target, and with a triumphant surge, burst its way into the Ambassador's inner circle... just as the Ambassador seemed to vanish. 209845 froze, shocked. What? How... and then it turned.

And saw Oxymoron, Primal, bursting with energy. The Cloud forces cowed beneath his might. His light illuminated the cavern, and 209845 felt his form illuminate with newfound strength. For an instant, it seemed like this battle could be won. Then the Cloud reinforcements arrived. They flooded the cavern, and 209845 knew they didn't stand a chance. A voice boomed in the chamber.

"You are all under arrest. Surrender to the Cloud, and you will not be harmed."

Wait what happened to Oxy looking at peoples vitals and sieng if they are in trouble?

"Am I under arrest?" Oxy asked the voice, locating it. "I... don't think so." He filtered through the time bubble to find any matching to the voice. He cross referenced and created a Time Binding on the voice. He needs to learn more. "Maybe if you tell me who you are, that would help. Last guy who tried to 'take me away' got sent back to a time before the cloud. Do you wanna be like him?"

Jidah flared with light. On a utility level, it was to manifest more power so it was more accessible.

But it also felt so powerful.

She doubled, then tripled Lati's armor, spending some extra time to make sure it would stay with her, and made sure to keep pthe connection open and continue flowing power to it. Then She flared again, brighter, and a huge, spherical shield burst away from her, slamming some of the sentinels against the ceiling and shoving the others away. Two waves of blades followed.
