She glanced around the room quickly taking it in.

Just for a split second there was a glimmer of.. something, in her eyes, but she didn't move."

“She has to have a final medical examination and sign some paperwork. We’re an inpatient care facility. We can’t just let people leave work care whenever they want.”

He lunged forward and grabbed Insa's wrist, lifting most of her weight into the air. "She stays. With me." The noxious smell was even worse this close.

Insa launched a lightning bolt at him with her other hand.

He dropped her and cried out as he was launched into the hallway. Aventine's eyes ever so slightly widened, and her finger twitched.

Insa stood up. 

“Ms. Aventine.” She spoke as if nothing had happened, “If you would like, your father may accompany us to the Clinic. However you must understand that you will be separated during the medical examination.”

“Elan? Please escort Gem and Aventine to the infirmary. And give Ash this.” She held out a sheet of paper.” A portal opened next to them.

She looked through the portal. “Oh.”

Insa gave her a pained smile. “Good to see you Ash. Aventine needs a medical examination. I was planning to send Elan and Gem along as well.”

Ash nodded and stepped through the portal. She went right up to Aventine. 

“Aventine do you remember me?” Ash spoke very softly and gently.

Ash pointed towards the portal.

”I would love to catch up a little bit. Would you like to come with me? We can do that and get your medics examination done?”
