Hello all,

This was an idea that popped into my head that has little to no evidence and is purely for fun.

We know that Lift and Vasher are going to be hanging out.

We know that Vasher is on Roshar for easy investiture.

Now, I think Vasher will just pray to Retribution like everyone else - but I could also seem him refusing to do so.

Heres the idea:

A buddy comedy style book of grumpy, centuries old Vasher moving through the cognitive realm with Lift, the child who refuses to grow up, while they search for a new planet.

I know this wont happen but it was fun to think about.

The Sibling still produces Towerlight which is everywhere in Urithiru. Vasher can grab it easier than Stormlight. He doesn't need Warlight or Lifelight.

Except @CtrlAltDepressed set their scene in the Cognitive Realm.

Where Towerlight is still accessible. Shallan said they are using it to manifest food and water.

Huh. So the Tower exists in all three Realms. Presumably there are corridors in Urithuru that you can use to just walk into the Cognitive Realm.

(The text doesn't support that, but it's fantasy novel and the magic god-castle extends between the realms. Come on!)

The text does support that, that's what happened in the book. Shallan and Renarin walked on the manifested Tower in the CR while trying to prevent Ghostbloods from accessing Dalinar's perpendicularity. WaT ch 31:

Quote

Before, the tower had manifested as a shimmer of light, but now that light had coalesced—like false dawn becoming true sunlight. It formed a tower that was a clone of the one in the Physical Realm, but as if created from glowing glass. A sphere infused, but on the scale of a mountain.
[...]
With the restoration of the Sibling, glowing walkways had appeared connecting the pillars, as well as leading to the tower itself, which now stood upon a large glowing platform of its own.
[...]
They soared through the halls of Urithiru, and as they did, Radiant reached out to brush the wall. It felt solid.
[...]
The room they reached was a perfect replica of the one in the Physical Realm, only made of the same shimmering glass as everything else.

I think Nitpicking was saying walk from the Physical Realm into Shadesmar, just by moving through the correct room/hall/door.

This is unlikely unless Sibling were to somehow manifest their own perpendicularity.
