It probably wasn’t that bad.

And plus, the monstrosity couldn’t get through.

Kayd hisses silently but she had been shot and stabbed before so she could survive this. She went as far back as she could and shuffles through her bag to get out some med supplies. Hal, the leader of her gang and man who raised her taught her med suff

The severed limb bled regular blood, but as more leaked from it, a more viscous blood flowed from the limb, the flesh curling and peeling as the liquid met it. Fumes rose from the limb - probably not the best idea to stick around.
