The severed limb bled regular blood, but as more leaked from it, a more viscous blood flowed from the limb, the flesh curling and peeling as the liquid met it. Fumes rose from the limb - probably not the best idea to stick around. 

She muffled a scream. She quickly wrapped the wound and crawled out. She used some sticks to make a makeshift leg.
