Most people had cleared away from the street as soon as the guards arrived, but all the remaining civilians ran at the sound of gunshots. The other guard took the bullet to the head, being unable to react in time. He fell to the ground, blood seeping out of the wound, his eyes staring lifelessly ahead. One guard turned to run, attempting to hide in the maze of houses that lined the street. The other two backed away, not wanting to disengage, but knowing that they couldn’t fight them alone. 20 hours ago, Steel Speedster said: Fenna, New Hallandren Fenna landed on her side then flipped backwards landing lightly on her feet next to Leon. Despair hit him, but he ignored it and advanced on the guards. He Pushed himself towards them, pulling out his knife and slashing directly at them, trying to cut through as many tassels as possible.

Soon, he came to New Hallendren, a bright, gaudy district full of colors that nearly blinded Leon with disgust. He landed in the streets, and began to look around. She stood in her beige uniform that had been stained by her and awakener blood alike, it was clean now but remembering her action filled assignments made her think of how bleak this one was. her boredom and restlessness was pushed aside as a drab and his bodyguard approached. “Ah, you must be Tulen.” Farenah said, holding out a hand to the scientist. “My name is Farenah, though most people call me Fara.” As she got closer to the man she focused of the small device under her coat. No vibration, so he wasn’t invested. It’s pretty easy to spot a drab, but she just had to be sure. @Steel Speedster Tulen ignored the shake. This one would need to earn his respect. “I am Tulen Hental.” He looked at what he could see of the operation, studying the process.

The two guards went into defensive positions, defending each other with their spears. One of them threw their rope at Leon, not holding on to the end, and instead changing to fight with their spear. BridgeBoi Posted February 3, 2025 Posted February 3, 2025 Altin, New Hallendren Altin watched the fight from the alleyway. Getting into the district had been surprisingly easy. He had simply roamed around the walls, found an unguarded spot, and cut his way in. Easy. From there, he had simply strolled out of the building and acted like a citizen. A few minutes later, that Coinshot, who he recognized as the shardthief, a famous criminal, had arrived, yelled something about murder, and begun fighting the guards. Stupid. He could've waited until a time when guards weren't patrolling but instead he arrived in broad daylight and begun to kill. Altin didn't have a problem with killing when necessary. He had done some bad things himself. But killing on a whim, that was arrogant and frankly despicable. The more he thought about it, the more the Coinshot angered him. The man dripped arrogance like a perfume. He thought, "That man needs to be taught a lesson." Weaver said in his mind, "You could do it. Save those men and show that Coinshot what real warriors are." Altin considered. Saving those men could gain him the favor of the district and earn him the pleasure of wiping the smirk off the Shardthief's face. He sensed that somehow his future balanced on the edge of a knife. It balanced on this decision, whether to choose the way of the hero or the way of the thief. Altin compromised with himself. He would fight but only to gain the favor of the authorities. He stood up and walked out into the street, tall and seemingly confident. He would count on the Awakeners to take care of the Thug. The Coinshot was his. "Hey, Coinshot," He called in a loud voice, hopefully drawing the attention of the combatants. "I hear they call you the Shardthief." He summoned Weaver in his most ornate form and slammed the six-foot blade into the ground. "Let's see if you can take this shard."
