Would anti-stormlight work on a spren in blade/shield/whatever weapon they form mode? Or does it only work if you stab the spren in it's 'natural' form? Would be interesting to have a weapon that you can't use a shard-shield or shardblade to block.

Solid form is more resilient:

Living Shardblades are the physical manifestation of spren. If Moash had used Raboniel's anti-Stormlight charged dagger to stab a spren while in Shardblade form, would it kill the spren? (Like Kaladin forming a Syl shield to guard a stab)

Brandon Sanderson

Physical form of a spren is going to be more resilient to this.

great question. I think that a steel arrow or bolt that has an anti-light gemstone attached to it would simply scratch the paint of plate, but if I recall correctly aluminum behaves differently. I remember Kaladin fighting fused with weir weapons that resisted shard blades. The thing is those weapons would be useless against regular steel. So that sets up a rock, paper, scissors sort of patter. Shard blade beats steel, aluminum+ anti-light beats shard blade, steel beats aluminum.

Yeah the dagger only worked because of the Raysium core - It doesn't appear that you can use kinetic energy to put 2 lights together. But you could do that old bag of holding just outside a bag of holding.

Two gems, raysium needle; pushed together on impact. Enjoy your (very) High Explosive rounds.

Thanks for the WoB!

So the anti-stormlight baggers/weapons wouldn't be much use in a battle where spren manifest more physically, more as a spy/sneak attack weapon.

Snipers. Which unfortunately sounds like the crossbow Mraize is practicing with. Though a good steel-push on a metal dart would probably be more accurate and longer range, if they have any allomancers or medallions.
