Rn they are in camp. Let me set up the camp so you can practice.

*plot dump*

Retlen stared at his men. The faithful of his troop, they had proven their loyalty to the Flame.

Give them a demonstration. A show of what I will grant the faithful. Extend your hand, and focus on me. The Flame.

Retlen silently made his way to the front of his men, and said in a quiet voice. “Behold. The Flame.”

A fire burst into being in front of Retlen, and he began to sweat bloody droplets. He removed it, grinning wildly.

This will come easier in my natural presence.

Retlen spoke. “In joining the Flame, we may take a fire with us, in our hearts.” He stepped into the bonfire, breathing deeply as his wounds reknit and he was unnaturally strengthened.

She ate her last bite. "Thank you."

She looked down at the coins in her hand. Not many were left; they would need more.

"I think I should stay up and do this for a while longer," she said.

I may be a bit once the actual story starts, bc I don’t actually have one ready.

Also, I’m trying to catch in everything else I’m involved in.

The owner approached Felicity. “The patrons are calling for another story, m’lady bard.”

We don’t have to RP it, we can just say she stays up and does it

“I figured as much.” She stood and returned. To the stage, beginning the next story under Mirth’s direction.

“Ya,” slurred a young man. He hiccuped and took another long drink. “Ya! ‘Nuffer one!!”

HEY! WOAH! Ok, but you’ll need to creat a character. The explanation is in the Essences RP Sign-Up thread.

Eh I’m not in to join a campaign or anything. I’m just bored and figured a random patron could cause some trouble. I’ll stay out if you want.

He noticed and gave her a big drunken grin. "You wanna drink? On me!" He almost toppled off his chair, leaning toward her even though she was at least six yards away. "A drink for the priddy woman!"

Aela scoffed and turned back to Felicity, ignoring the man.

I'm fine, Aela mouthed reassuringly.

Meanwhile, the man seemed to have decided that it was a song he could sing along to, and so he belted out a deep baritone (terribly out of tune, not that there was a tune), trying to guess the words. He didn't do very well.

Aela sighed. "Will you shut up?" she said to the drunk.

Aela sighed and discretely froze the man's mouth shut. It wouldn't hurt him, but at least he wouldn't talk for a while.

The man wasn't sure what to think of this, so he started clapping along to the beat of the music (well, the story he thought was music).
