So I'm pretty sure that most people are familiar with the concept, but for those who don't know shower thoughts are basically the weird things that occur to you randomly as you're going about your life. This thread is for sharing them.

For instance, something that I was thinking about a few weeks ago: was the term lukewarm invented because some guy named Luke was really bad at handling heat, so the distinction had to be made between normal person warm and Luke warm? (I'm 99% sure that isn't the real reason, but it's fun to think about).

yes, there was a little known reason. If you watch Oversimplified's video on the battle of Hastings, he can explain it better
