It's a fork with four prongs. 

Because a three-pronged fork is a Trident, so a four-pronged fork is a quadrent.

Yes, I know there are a ton of holes in that logic, just ignore them.

While a Salad fork may also have four tines, it is usually three tines, because the broader tine is better for holding leafy vegetables. Dessert and ice cream forks are also three tined. Etc. et. al.

Hands are just the best. Where some utensils fail, hands can do it all.

I prefer using a bread fork or a cookie dipper for most of my eating.
