Roy dashed into the gas station, panting from the effort, his mind still foggy from the surreal haze of the Lotus Casino. The neon lights flickered as he grabbed a newspaper, the crinkling pages a jarring contrast to the timeless luxury he had just escaped. His eyes widened in shock as the date screamed up at him: two weeks had passed. Two weeks since he had entered the casino's enchanted doors, believing it had been mere hours. Stunned, he sank onto a nearby bench, the weight of lost time pressing down on him as he struggled to comprehend the reality he had reentered. 

"its been 2 weeks! we only have 1 day left!"

Not trusting Roy in the slightest, Jenny grabbed a newspaper too. Her heart sank when she read the date; he wasn’t lying. This was one of the few times when she had wished that Roy was actually lying.

She stood there for a moment, frozen. They’d wasted weeks inside of that casino, but hadn’t been there for more than a few hours. This didn’t make any sense. There had to be some reasonable explanation. There had to be.

”Maybe… maybe the newspapers have the wrong dates printed. There’s no way we were in there for two weeks.”

who on earth thought that putting me incharge was a good idea? yes so in the books they make it somehow to la where they will enter the underworld where jenny can do her cool stuff to get to hades. we find out that the master bolt is not with hades but with us.... big ares boss fight! then we go to the airport and fly to nyc where we get a cab up to the empire state building where we go to olympus and save the day! or not... we could let the war happen....
