She hadn’t done enough to save him. Maybe she’d just made things worse. She could’ve interrupted something by forcing Terrance out of the void. She might’ve broken him, somehow. She’d hurt him. The inevitable had finally happened. No, she didn’t know that. He could be okay. She might not have messed up. She wasn’t allowed near anything capable of starting fires at camp after a string of accidentally using said things to burn objects not intended to be burnt, so she didn’t get to see explosions very often.
