Her day had started out so well. She was going to win capture the flag with her new friend Edgar. While they had technically won, the day ended with both of them beat up and a massive new target on her back. @Weaver of Lights @RoyalBeeMage Edgar walked with her, also on the edge of collapse. He gritted his teeth against the pain, knowing it was only temporary. Be could feel the potion within him, healing him much faster than his body would normally. But it still hurt, a lot. Despite that, seeing Jenny look like she was about to fall to the ground, he offered his arm to her. His Gift shifted into a brace for his legs, strengthening him slightly.

Jenny still felt terrible; Edgar was in awful shape. But she was admittedly in awful shape too. The news of their impending quest and the fact that she was probably the number one thief suspect weighed on her just as much as her injuries. “Thank you.”

Even though everything seemed absolutely terrible, it felt like she’d be ok so long as Edgar was there. She was slowly realizing how awful being alone had been, what she had been missing out on. They eventually arrived at the Hades cabin, and she carefully shifted so that she was supporting her own weight again. “Goodnight.” She walked to the door, but turned back before opening it. ”And thank you again. For being kind.” Jenny then went inside and flopped on her bed, falling asleep instantly.

Despite everything that had happened, despite the pain, despite the enemies he’d made, he was happy. He had a friend, and that made things better. He could depend on her, it had been so long since he had someone he could depend on. And she called him kind. It had been a long time since someone had thought that about him, or at least told him they thought it. “Of course, thank you for the same. It’s…nice to have someone to trust. Goodnight.” After she went in to her cabin, he went back to his own. It was filled with his siblings, yet he was still the outsider. He went and lied down, alone. Again. But he wouldn’t always be alone, he had a friend now. Eventually, he drifted off to sleep.
Lunamor she/her Posted February 17, 2024 Posted February 17, 2024 Quote Are y’all good if I give Jenny a celestial bronze dagger? I forgot to include it in her character sheet, but it would mean she has two gifts from Hades instead of just one.

It was still painful to walk, though nowhere near how bad it had been the day before. His arms and legs were covered in acid burns, and he had two gashes from where Roy had struck earlier. So he hurt, but it was manageable. His Gift steadied him in the form of a walking stick as he went to go check on Jenny. He paused outside of her cabin, not wanting to wake her if she was sleeping. He knocked softly, hoping she would hear it if she was awake. He wanted to make sure she wasn’t too injured. She had seemed so tired the night before, he wanted to check that she was ok. @Lunamor

She now wore multiple hairbands on both of her wrists, determined to ensure that her bun would stay put. Five daggers were hidden in various places on her person, including her favorite celestial bronze one. She wore a black, long sleeved shirt that was a bit frilly in spots. Her pants were jeans of the exact same shade. She was excited to have an excuse not to wear the orange camp t-shirts. Aside from some faint shadows under her eyes, she seemed to be her usual energetic self. Her physical wounds, however, were not yet completely gone. The long sleeves concealed the burns on her arms, but the cheek wound was still noticeable. It wasn’t particularly bad, but evidence of the original burn still remained. She smiled immediately, happy to see Edgar, but it slipped away as she saw his poor state. His burns and gashes still looked bad, and he needed a walking stick. Jenny forced a smile back onto her face. She didn’t want to make him think too much about his pain; there wasn’t anything she could do to help. ”Good morning Edgar!”

Or, more wrong than going on this quest?” He looked down at her dagger. “That’s a beautiful knife.”
