Windreader she/her Posted December 14, 2014 Posted December 14, 2014 Granted. It is really ugly. I wish I could use bendalloy, Stormlight, Royal Locks and whatever other powers I wish for at the same time.
RawToast225 he/him Posted December 14, 2014 Posted December 14, 2014 Granted. You have cancer. (Cyanide and Happiness style joke, sorry) I wish for a library in my house.
Redbird he/him Posted December 14, 2014 Posted December 14, 2014 I kind of expected an inquiceratops to be ugly, so no great loss there. Granted, although people think it is a public library, and people come in to check out books. I wish for a dozen or so charged steel spikes.
Pathfinder Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 (edited) Granted, but turns out the pack that tried to kill you had been harassing and killing a towns sheep, resulting into them all banding together to hunt you down, and kill you since you now look like the alpha. Congrats you now have a whole town worth of people gunning out for your blood I wish I could convince more people I know of the joy of reading Sanderson's books so I will have more people to gush over the books with. Jo and the Bush all/any Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 Granted. But every person you convince joins this site and outstrips you in Rep quickly. I wish to own a Single copy of every book, written in english.
Screwloose Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 (edited) Granted, you own a copy of every book. Ever. Including those that only appear in other works of fiction. Good luck sifting through the pile and dealing with all the evil tomes full of elderitch lore that are now lurking within it. I wish I could get to sleep right now. Jo and the Bush all/any Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 Granted, you own a copy of every book. Ever. Including those that only appear in other works of fiction. Good luck sifting through the pile and dealing with all the evil tome of Shoreditch lore that are now lurking within it. Eh, worth it. and since you inferred that the books still maintain their magic properties, Then I can start by reading all the Tamriel Skill books. 1
Andvari Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 Granted. Your head immediately droops and breaks your screen. I wish I could ace every exam I took.
Windreader she/her Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 Granted. You get horrible headaches every day, starting at precisely 4:07 PM. I wish I didn't have curse inflicted cancer, and that I cannot be cursed with any illnesses.
sanderfan she/her Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 (edited) Granted. Every time you sneeze, the power goes out within a one mile radius for twenty four hours. I wish I had more free time so I could read Wheel of Time. Edited December 16, 2014 by sanderfan
Windreader she/her Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 At least I'm not allergic to anything. Granted. You can burn bendalloy! Now you can make some free time for yourself. But... You don't know where to get any. I wish for... You know, I'm not really sure what to wish for. I'm pretty happy with my Stormlight, bendalloy, and Royal Locks. Then again, I get random compulsions to jump off cliffs and the power goes out when I sneeze. I should stop rambling and just wish for something. Ha ha! I know! I wish to be a Forger.
Pathfinder Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 Granted, you become the greatest forger ever known. In fact you are so good, you figure out a way to create a soulstamp that can be applied to anyone regardless their history. In anticipation of dealing with opponents who are more powerful than you, you create a soulstone that removes a persons abilities completely, causes them to completely forget they had powers and ingrains a compulsion to refresh the stamp regularly for "medical" reasons. So proud of your grand accomplishment, you get up from your work table, trip on your chair and as you fall you land on your stamp. Congratulations, you are now a normal person with no abilities at all, all because you had to be greedy and ask to be a forger too I wish plants vs zombies could be free on windows computers, so I won't have to stare at my phones tiny screen to play it. (it recently made a come back, and now I am addicted )
Windreader she/her Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 Nooooooo! My Windrunning! My bendalloy! Oh the horror! Wait, are my banes gone too? But seriously, great curse. Very impressive indeed. Granted. You trip while going down stairs and break your pinky finger. I wish to get my Windrunning and bendalloy back.
RawToast225 he/him Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 Granted, but you now are paralyzed. Very sad. I wish for the ability to learn anything perfectly.
Pathfinder Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 Granted, but you now are paralyzed. Very sad. I wish for the ability to learn anything perfectly. Granted, you learn anything perfectly, but fail to apply it utterly. Noooo not my pinky finger! Then I have to play on my phone like I am British, with one pinky stuck out!!!! I wish to be able to play with voice commands so I will not have to worry about my pinky!
Windreader she/her Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 Granted. The voice commands don't work well and keep misinterpreting what you said. I wish to not be paralyzed, obviously.
sanderfan she/her Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 Granted. You now suffer from debilitating headaches. I wish I knew the intents of all 16 shards of Adonalsium.
Windreader she/her Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 Granted. You get the hiccups at least once a day. I wish to not have debilitating headaches.
ChullRider he/him Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 Granted. You get the hiccups at least once a day. I wish to not have debilitating headaches. Granted, but now you have narcolepsy. I wish to meet Brandon Sanderson.
Peng the Just he/him Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 (edited) Granted. You now are physically incapable of ever being more than 3 miles away from him. If he gets on a plane and you don't, your body is dragged through the air behind it. I wish to be a windrunner Edited December 18, 2014 by jasonpenguin
Jo and the Bush all/any Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 Granted. You now are physically incapable of ever being more than 3 miles away from him. If he gets on a plane and you don't, your body is dragged through the air behind it. A lot of people on this site wouldn't consider this a curse. And Granted, Unfortunately, that means that Highstorms now go through your Hometown Weekly. I wish for a genie in a bottle.
Unodus he/him Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 A lot of people on this site wouldn't consider this a curse. And Granted, Unfortunately, that means that Highstorms now go through your Hometown Weekly. I wish for a genie in a bottle. Granted, unfortunately it is impossible to get the genie out of the bottle- rendering its powers useless I wish I had a wider vocabulary
Kobold King he/him Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 A lot of people on this site wouldn't consider this a curse. And Granted, Unfortunately, that means that Highstorms now go through your Hometown Weekly. I wish for a genie in a bottle. Granted. The genie trained under the Nightwatcher, and gives out curses with every wish. I wish for a quality TV show to watch.
Jo and the Bush all/any Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 Granted, but you're both cursed to forever ninja eachother. I wish to be a Free Genie. 1
Windreader she/her Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 Granted. You are a helpful genie, and still grant people wishes, even if you don't really want to. I wish I didn't have narcolepsy. 2
