nikomis he/him Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 Harry Dresden is allowed nowhere near a Fabrial. Just saying.
Joe ST he/him Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 Harry Dresden is allowed nowhere near a Fabrial. Just saying. I wonder how well the Cross Swords would do against Shard'n'Plate. And how about Bob and Spren.... 0.o
KChan she/her Posted February 9, 2012 Author Posted February 9, 2012 Dang, DINOSHARD is too big for a license plate. And DNOSHRD is just silly.
Emeralis00 she/her Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 I wonder how well the Cross Swords would do against Shard'n'Plate. And how about Bob and Spren.... 0.o Wait...BOB IS A SPREN. Its so obvious now.
CrazyRioter she/her Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 If Karrin Murphy and Micheal Carpenter lived on Roshar they would so totally both be Radiants-in-training like Kaladin. And seeing Murphy, Micheal and Kaladin kicking chull together would be awesome.
dhalagirl she/her Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 Ooh...that just put an image of Harry wearing shardplate in my head. Mmrrroow.
Doc he/him Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 (edited) That made me snort/chuckle. Cool plate. I would suggest it to my wife, but she would just give me that LOOK and roll her eyes. Thankfully, it was my amazing wife who came up with the idea for this all on her own, so... I think I'm fairly free in doing whatever I want for a vanity plate... I've been thinking about DOCSTU, which is an amalgamation of my Army nickname and my last name shortened... But ShardCar opens soooo many possibilties... Edited February 11, 2012 by Doc
EHyde she/her Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 I'm a little late to the discussion here, but that is awesome. I didn't even think of getting custom plates for our van, though I do like to think of it as that one relative that Elend never talks about--you know, Chevy, of House Venture ;-) 1
Windrunner he/him Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 I love this! I think one of the best parts is that every time some random stranger says, "What does your plate mean?" you can shamelessly plug the site, Brandon Sanderson books, and the cosmere in general.
Zas678 he/him Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 I just wanted to say: 1. Awesome. Sweet. Fantastic. 2. Guess how many Rep points are on there right now? That's right. 17. 1
KChan she/her Posted February 24, 2012 Author Posted February 24, 2012 You should have screencapped it! I wanted to see. XD Also, dang. Thanks for all the upvotes, guys! O_O
Link Von Kelsier Harvey he/him Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 (edited) Dag-nabit! You overtook me in rep-points on a single post. There goes my last claim to fame. *Edit* Oh, I have more than I did last time I checked. Still, that's much too close. Edited February 25, 2012 by Link Von Kelsier Harvey
dhalagirl she/her Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 Every time you drive the ShardCar you need to listen to "Don't Stop Believing". Journey before destination. (ba-dump ching) 10
Kuri Shardweaver he/him Posted March 4, 2012 Posted March 4, 2012 Every time you drive the ShardCar you need to listen to "Don't Stop Believing". Journey before destination. (ba-dump ching) I logged in just so I could upvote this glorious pun.
KChan she/her Posted March 4, 2012 Author Posted March 4, 2012 That was pretty darn awesome, yes. XD Also, minor update: The place in the mall that does custom plate frames has since vanished, so I'm still looking around for a chance to further geek out my car. Sadly, the plate frame will have to wait. :C
Shivertongue he/him Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 I think you should put a decal of the site's logo on your hood. ....Or replace the site's logo with a picture of your hood, whichever works, i'm not picky. I am. With an icepick. A hemalurgic icepick that still needs a charge. I hope you get my meaning. 3
