wait, pushing forward in a literal sense? because *cough* if Tal somehow manages to touch Lundyn, then she'll (Lundyn) end up just blacking out. basically my train of thought here is that one of the memory strings was causing to remember something traumatizing for her (which i'll be revealing here in a minute or so), and the force field is her immediate response to said memory, because its her form of "fight or flight." if someone is able to endure the pain from moving through the force field, then that triggers something in her brain, causing her to black out. the whole "flickering lights, color-changing eyes, etc. etc." is taking up a heck of a lot of energy for her. so if someone where to physically come into contact with her while she is in this state (or at least attempt to), then most of her energy will be contributing to subconsciously inflicting as much pain as possible to whoever is trying to touch her (bc reasons). once someone is able to touch her, all her energy is immediately put out. im thinking of her energy as a sort of fire.

Luna woke up in the medical wing. Last thing she remembered was Aeoryi saying Mistborn was bad. She saw Lundyn apparently in pain.

Instinctively, Luna reaches out to touch her. "I can handle the pain." Luna reassured the staff members.

Looking back at the people talking, Luna responded. "She said Mistborn was bad and the Final Empire was very bland." Luna pressed on.

Lundyn's memory begins to play inside of Tal's (and anyone else who wants to) mind in flashes. First, Tal sees a younger version of Lundyn. He could tell that she was younger, because her wings are smaller and the feathers look less full. She's standing on a branch of a tree, the sun framing her. She's smiling. She's happy. next, another image of Lundyn, this one a bit older, sitting next to what one could assume to be her parents. She still looks happy, but then the image flickers, changing to an angry Lundyn. a very, very angry Lundyn, who is . there are large pieces of the ground floating around her, seemingly frozen in time. Her eyes have an orange glow to them. She is floating in the air, wings spread. the second-to-last image lasted for not even five seconds. it's an image of her parents. they're lying next to each other in a field of daisies. they're holding hands. Something made Tal realize that was the last thing they ever did. the last image was of Lundyn flying away.

Pic stumbled forward to the floor, overcompensating now that the field was no longer there. He groans, and rolls over to his back so he can hop up. He turns around, and sees Lundyn's body on the floor. He curses under his breath and rushes to check for a pulse. When he finds one, he sighs in relief, and picks her up, careful not to mess with her wings too much.

oh yeah, i forgot about that part-

uhmmmmm they've stopped vibrating and they're really scrunched up now. also some of the feathers that are on them have changed from a cream color to more of a gray, some feathers being darker than others
