He feels a huge block on the cell but manages to teleport just in front getting rid of the blackness just in front of the cell he squeezes through just before it comes back in full force.

The Being growls at Almond, wanting the little entity's soul. "You... you, worthless entity, will be consumed in the most painful way I can formulate."

"No! You don't! If you do you'll be like him and people like him make me angry!" Almond has to visibly fight back the darkness as you see a darkening of his fur come and recede.

Almond turns around "I don't want you to destroy this place! It seems too nice for that! I will rend your life from you and torture your soul for all eternity!" Almond once again turns black with red eyes as his magic is bolstered by his anger.

Immediately his skin starts to burn, and he clenches his teeth against the pain.

“I have the totem, the medallion.” The Being says. He waves a hand and Elan’s pain ramps up. He collapses onto his knees. 

Elan is sweating, and there is fear and pain in his eyes. Ave… Aventine, I need help. Elan sends. You won’t survive long out here. There’s a medallion on his neck. I need you to take it off. Get it away from him. While he’s distracted killing me. Get it off him. Please.

"COME TO ME." He says, his body stretching out, lengthening until he surrounds the cage. His body grows strange, extra heads and arms on his thin torso, like something out of a high abstractionist's nightmare's. They slam, hard, on everywhere where cracks have formed, shattering small chips off the barrier off, slowly eating away at it, trying to get the whole cube to collapse.

Tal’s eyes were squeezed shut, tightly. The cell started to crumble around the group, and he trembled, but his fire flared up, encasing them all in a safe, warm place. The fire of a hearth. The fire that warmed freezing travelers. The fire that promised you were home, and there was nothing to fear.

Tal let out an agonized scream. “Kill it,” he screamed to Elan. “We can survive this, but the longer it takes the less likely that gets.”
