It flung her against the wall of her mind. She fell to the floor.

It started to flip through books in her mind - her thoughts, her memories. "There are many who care about you." It slammed the book shut and smirked at her. "We'll shatter them, too."

He was easily able to move out of the way, and he brought her with him. "Stay out of others' affairs, meddler."

"See, I was never really good at that." Elan says, flinging more blasts of energy. He multitasks, simultaneously fighting him physically and also trying to push him out of Aventine's head.

He dodged all of them. How could that have been possible?

Elan was surprised, but didn't stop. He shoved in Aventine's mind, trying to get the thing out. "STOP IT YOU STUPID GOD LIKE KING MONSTER THINGY!!!"

"GAH!" When Elan forced his way into her head, he was blasted against the wall next to her. The thing faltered, but it remained on its feet. "You are interfering with a force you don't understand, fool." He threw a mind-desk at Elan.

Elan flinches as he hits the wall. "WOULD. YOU. JUST. STOP IT!!!" Elan screams. The ground in front of him shatters in a line going towards the man. He starts running towards him, summoning a long, white, ethereal blade.

This time, it was unable to dodge. It was blasted out of her head, as was Elan.

Rahil stumbled away from her and Elan, falling on his backside. "You will regret this day," he promised. "I will find her again, and she will. Be. Mine."

"Bet." Elan says, "I was planning on you being dead today." He throws his sword faster than the speed of sound at Rahil, a loud BOOM shaking the room as it flies towards him.

Rahil again dodged it, rolling to the side. "I will hunt you both forever."

Aventine summoned her dagger (room for witty Elan response here) and stabbed the ground beneath them. 

Rahil and Aventine's guard stared at the ground where the two had once been.

The Being kept slamming on the barrier, and it continued to fracture, more and more essence spilling in. Most of it continued to be vaporized, but some started remaining, flowing down the inside of the wall and to the floor.

Pic bursts into the room, seeing The Being attemting to pull Tal through the bars. Pic intensifies the sound of his song, and the staves on his sword flare. He slices down on the Being's grip just as the melody descends.

The Being looks surprised at the fire, but not distressed. More and more essence pours in, burning away, none of it successfully hitting anything. "WHY FIGHT?! YOU MUST RETURN." The Being says, getting angry. He waves an arm and the pressure of the essence on the container increases, simultaneously shrinking their refuge and further breaking the barrier. "COME TO ME." He says, his body stretching out, lengthening until he surrounds the cage. His body grows strange, extra heads and arms on his thin torso, like something out of a high abstractionist's nightmare's. They slam, hard, on everywhere where cracks have formed, shattering small chips off the barrier off, slowly eating away at it, trying to get the whole cube to collapse.

Almond awakes to a bad feeling. Looking around he can see blackness encroaching everywhere. He grasps his staff and tries to teleport to Tal's prison, the only place that he thinks is still safe. He feels a huge block on the cell but manages to teleport just in front getting rid of the blackness just in front of the cell he squeezes through just before it comes back in full force.
